Labby's are retrievers - just doing what he's supposed to do - retrieve his toy   wish Milo would do that - he shakes his bot bits as training for catching rats

AJ..   he just wanted to take stuff (especially if he thought it was valued by someone else) and keep it!   Fetch the ball was always a pretty short game with AJ.. one throw, no returns

yeah...   don't get too jealous...   its like having a rampant toddler..   I nearly lost a kidney this afternoon cos he was asleep on my arm..   and I knew if I moved to go have a wee he'd wake up 

also..   he realised the bean bag in the front room was more than a big cushion, that it contained stuff...    I think he thought it might be training treats...   he spent half an hour hurling himself into the bean bag & then trying to chew his way in (unsuccessfully..    hasn't mastered the art of not rolling in the beanbag & ending up on his back on the floor 

he's very cute..    working his Loki magic on us all today

Morning snoozy poo's  (finally!!!)

and yes.   his eye is slightly open..   but he is definitely asleep cos I can see his eye moving around - REM styley!    Tis a bit freaky 

We babysit our friends Westie and he growls as he's eating his food!!

Looks - growl - nom - looks - growl - nom.

Then he greeds off us!!!

I've started to growl at him while i'm eating LOL

how's the first week gone? has he settled and accepted his new home 

oh yes!  

I had initially worried that Loki, God of Mischief might not be the right name for him..   cos he was sooo polite & well behaved at first..    Weds morning he woke up with the devil in him and he hasn't looked back since.   

He's so lovely..   and funny...   AND BIG 

He obviously dreams about suckling..   cos he suckles in his sleep! 

He settles down on a night good as gold...   still waking up at 5am though

Had his first visit to the vet..   I asked her if his eyes were ok, cos they were a bit droopy ..   she said "yes, he's just got to grow into his face "

Right way round he is soooo handsome..   upside down (as he often is) he looks mental..  reminds me of the dog on the film The Mask, when he has the mask on.

He had an exhausting morning today...  claimed one of the boys slippers, and one of the girls (thankfully already knackered) Uggs as his..   then promptly fell asleep mid chew..

hard not to..   got more loose chops skin than a bloodhound at the moment 

He is the most ticklish dog I have ever come across..     even an under the chin tickle can set a back leg off air cycling 

yeah, MrD is home over the weekend so I must attempt to get some more pics & vids -  when he is playing with him..   (impossible to take them when its just me & Loki...   he see's my phone and thinks its a toy for him - possibly cos I have a big cartoon bumble bee case on my phone at the moment )
