If you live in the ROI and have Sky you CAN watch Big Brother but have to tune it in. Here's how.
So if you have Sky, take the following steps to get Channel 5 it's really simple!
1.Press the services button on the remote control.
2.Press No.4 - System Set-up.
3.Press No.4 again - Add Channels.
4.Now enter the following figures under the headings:
Frequency (GHz) - 10.773.
Polarisation - H.
Symbol Rate (Mbaud) - 22.0
FEC - 5/6.
5.Press the button ''Find Channels''.
6.A list of channels should come up on the screen and just scroll down to Channel 5 and press the button that says ''store channel''. The channel should now be saved in your television.
7.Now to find the channel, press the services button again. Scroll down to the option that says ''Other Channels'' and Channel 5 should be in them.

Your welcome Ducky....I lost mine when the cards changed and I still have'nt got around to getting a new one..
I should like this post for FB people who are'nt here anymore....

Same here! Talk about bleeding lazy! I only need it for ITV though (now I've sorted C5), and I just keeping thinking what's the point I never watch ITV. Two months later something comes on that I want to watch and then I think well it's too late now. That finishes, and I'm back to what's the point I never watch ITV.
That may well be THE most boring post I have ever written. 
It's certainly in the running anyway.... and yet I'm still going on....

..I never lost ITV just ch5 and 5US and 5US+1 which is a good thing I was starting to worry my dad that I has getting ideas to commit the perfect murder down to a T....
