Great LUTing! I watched till about 2am and then got bored at the prospect of listening to Caoimhe and Shabby's life stories!
One thing that I haven't seen mentioned was JJ and Josie discussing last year's BB (untill BB cut the sound!) Josie stated that Noirin had had a snog with Marcus and several others (incorrect to my recollection).  JJ says that he liked Kris (of Kris is a wanker fame) and couldn't understand why he was so disliked  A poor judge of character, our JJ!

MONDAY 28TH JUNE

Kitchen. Shabby and Ife. Ife is washing up. Shabby isn't. Talking about acting, music, singing, dancing,....the arts.

Ife says people who are truly passionate about music don't go on the X Factor.

Bedroom. Lights out. Josie and JJ whispering in bed together.
Josie pulles covers over her head and whispers even quieter. Not possible to tell what they are saying  - maybe BB will be able to enlighten us in a highlights programme with their clever technology. (At least this proves that JJ can be quiet in the bedroom if he chooses.)

Cameras cut between these to scenes.

Ife fancies a cup of tea and a biscuit but Shabby tells her she will only make herself feel sick. "Just go to bed."  Ife says "Yea."

Josie and JJ now in separate beds. (I'm not sure where is is sleeping, but it seems he is in a single bed and not alongisde Mario any more.
He smiles broadly and Josie sends him a mime message.
She points to her eye, then her heart, then to him.
"I love you" she mimes.

(On such a short acquaintance? - opinion)
He beams broadly as he settles down in bed; she sucks her thumb. Steve snores.

Ife continues to tidy up in the kitchen, and she collects stuff from the garden too.
Ife now in bathroom dabbing cream on her upper body.

Ife now in bed - next to Mario as she was last night.
So presumably at some point there has been bed swapping. JJ is now in a single bed.

Ife and Mario lok very much like a couple  Ife is practical wrapped in his arms.

Ife and Mario are whispering to each other. She seems rather happy. They giggle.

Mario gets out of bed to go for a wee.
He returns to bed. Mario yawns, but Ife carries on whispering, nestling her head in towards him.
(Is this the same woman who once struggled to string half a dozen words together? She is pouring forth and doesn't look even close to sleep.)

Even in the dark her enormous curled up eye-lashes can be seen like an insect on her face.
They seem comfortable together.
They get up.
Ife and Mario now in kitchen.
He asks for the time. "1 o'clock" she says.
"Helf past 2" says Mario.
Ife says "It's not as if you have to get up for work or anything." She does not want to sleep.
They are putting all the dining chairs underneath the table.
(Why?)

Kitchen. The chairs are now (on their sides) under the table. One chair on top of the table and 3 napkins on which is written "I Like Tea".
Ife makes tea. They mention the possibility of doing a prank every night.

She questions Mario about his Mole activities.
"Would you have been evicted if somebody had gone to the DRoom and said you were the mole?" "Yes" he says.

The stumbling, faltering speaker is now fluent!!!!!
(Is Ife being innocent or canny here? Do we take her at face value or is she pumping Mario?)
Mario goes to lavatory again.
Mario returns. Ife says nobody has any cigarettes left.
Ife is "performing" now.
Is this "like" Ife the actress "like"?
Is she smiling just slightly too much?
And talking slightly too much?

Ife seems to be passionate about hygiene and tidyness.
Wee on towels upsets her. She criticizes the hygiene of other housemates.
She is wide awake and full of talk.
Mario, on the other hand is being pleasant to her, but is somehow less interested.
(This is the longest preparation of any cup of tea. Ever!)
I think Ife is deliberately prolonging this.
The tea is only lukewarm - I am not surprised!
She questions Mario about when he came out as "gay".He talks about the emotional difficulties of coming to terms with being gay and coming out.

Ife is firing rapid questions to Mario. Vroom, vroom, vroom she goes.

(Opinion - I get the feeling that Ife is keeping Mario talking, but that her interest is not 100% genuine. There seems to be a bit of unconvincing 'trying-too-hard-to-please' acting going on.)
She is not lost for words tonight. This has turned into an interrogation.

It strikes me Ife is postponing bed and using delaying tactics.
(I don't know why.)

The cup of tea took for ever to make - deliberately I am sure. 20 minutes to make one cup of tea?
Ife seems very wide awake, and is eager to keep a conversation going.

They sit at smoking area. Ife tries to smoke a tiny cigarette end previously smoked. The cigarette lighter fails her. She goes indoors to get a light from the toaster - but BB says NO!

She goes back to the smokers bench and eventually lights the 1/2inch cigarette.

(I'll admit to being a bit baffled by Ife's behaviour tonight. Is it a genuine desire to spend time with Mario? 

Or are there other reasons?  Her behaviour is somehow different - more assertive, more clinging, more time-consuming, more questioning.)

I think Ife wishes to stay awake and speak for the next five hours. (With "like" being every alternate word.)
She is again fishing and probing Mario about his 'mole' activities.

Lots of rambling and re-capping past events.
Ife says that Sunshine "is still irritating - you can't say she's not."
Mario yawns.
Ife doesn't.
(I want to shout "oh for goodness sake shut up woman!")

Mario and Ife return to the house.
Bathroom. Mario brushes his teeth, so does Ife.
Mario's bristley facial hair is a bit thicker.

They go to the bedroom. Ben is disturbed. Mario fondles him.
Ife and Mario whisper.
Ife's head is inclining in towards Mario.
His eyes close. She gazes at him.
He turns away from her.

(I don't know what to make of Ife's performance tonight. I'm not sure it was entirely without motive. Or maybe I do her an injustice....Any suggestions welcome.)

IMO Ife is becoming more settled and her real personality is coming out now, after all she was unlikely to have been picked to be on BB if she really was the shy retiring type.  I actually think there is potential for her to become a very strong presence in the house now that she has found her bearings.


I half listened to her convo with Shabby where she talked about her experience of being on another TV show (Dance X) where she was singing and dancing and had to perform at one point in a gold bikini.  Sounds like it didn't go that well for her - the producers didn't appreciate where her real talents lay, and when she was doing well kept changing her act.  ( I thought it was funny when she said that although she disagreed with what she was being told to do she agreed because she didn't want to appear to be undirectable in order to get work in the future - I wondered if this gave Shabby pause for thought )

to answer Briskets ponderings re Ife..

She started talking with Mario much more when she pulled away form Shabby and Caoimhe early last week. .only it was mainly in the day time ...  and we only got brief flashes of it

when she was with the two girls they talked over her a lot as well..

she probably seemed to be talking a lot last night cos they were the only two up and nothing else of interest [for BB] was happening so they got more airtime than usual

Steve, JJ and Dave are eating left over curry and sunshine has made scrambled eggs out of tofu, JJ trys some and isn't impressed, Sunshine says she won't get a cookery show if he keeps saying her food is horrible
JJ saying he and Josie where whispering in bed last night without there microphones on and he wonders if BB could hear what they where talking about
Shabby and keever are pretending they  are going to the shops and asking what everyone wants
Ben keeps asking Mario if he thinks that he will be up for eviction again this week
Shabby bit-hing in the kitchen to JJ and Keever about sunshine and dave *guess thats her noms this week then* she still can't believe that Govan went over the other 3  she doesn't see what he did wrong, Dave had said Govan was in alot of arguments, keever doesn't want to know his thoughts on it, Shabby saying she hasn't done anything in the house that she regrets, Ify has asked for cigarrettes and BB has said no

Shabby thinks Keever is really into the game now because since Friday she's been wanting everyone to like her, Keever doesn't think that she has been crawling to any of them, she just doesn't want them to think she's always a bitch, Shabby thinks she can be a bitch but she doesn't want to upset Keever she just wants to tell her as her friend in the house  Shabby was wondering if she was doing it to save her arse

Shabby saying Keever is being spiteful to Sunshine for the sake of being spiteful  Keever disagrees with this, she thinks Sunshine is a spoilt brat and they don't have the same morals, when Sunshine sings it makes her skin crawl, JJ gets into the convo and says he has to walk away when she starts singing into the mirrors
Keever says she can't believe what she said the other day (don't know what)
Shabby says things go to far sometimes, think she means that Crispgate is still being talked about and they should maybe drop it now
Shabby doesn't think that what Sunshine does is all bad, Keever can't believe she doesn't see it
Shabby thinks Keever has now got a moody face, Sunshine is the only person Keever doesn't like in the house
Think Shabby must have said something about Sunshines nose yesterday as Shabby now feels bad about it cause Sunshine went into the wardrobe and cried, Keever says she's just drawing attention to herself

Saw a bit of this during lunctime live feed. The death penalty convo. sounded interesting. Ben was against as was Dave who used to be in favour. Steve is in favour of it, trotting out the old 'what if were your kids?' argument. A shame we didn't get to see more of this. 
Caoihme seems to like Ben now whereas Shabs is still suspicious 'The door is open, but the safety chain is still on' (Congratulates herself on that one) Shabs felt that Ben used different topics to talk about with different hms; art with herself, Ireland with Caoimhe and Corrie with Corin. Caoimhe says that in her case Ireland was a starting point, but she and Ben talk about loads of things now!
