And Siavash telling Sophie that Marcus has been nice about her behind her back. Of course that will just go in one of Sophie's ears and out of the other one, like most information.
It's very annoying when BB show HM's whispering in the bedroom, they can hear them but know we can't so why bother showing us. 
If it's something interesting show us in HL's not waste L/F if others are chatting in the house.

Good question. The Sound Engineer is in charge of that, he can probably increase the volume so BB can hear what they're saying but whether he can for viewers I'm not sure. Don't they usually show us subtitles in HL's ?

Sounds like it, I think Siav feels guilty for cheating on his ex but is trying to explain no one not even HM's would understand how or why his thing with Noirin happened. Whereas Noirin doesn't seem to have a concience about her behaviour I think Siav does.
I imagine they dont crank up the volume because theres always the chance of some herbert running through screaming throwing water and blowing the GBP's ear drums.
