I prefer them to the overrated Aisleyne thats for sure Wink Big Grin.
Aisleyene was cool but no where as cool as Science and Maloko Nod

Oh Aisleyne was ok just didn't understand all this hype about her but each to their own, still I hardly remember anything about her time in the house Laugh.
The reason why people love her is because she stood up to Sezer when he tried to intimidate her on her first night... She also stood up for Susan when Gracie poured water on her.... She was a good housemates but cried too much towards the end...

I didn't support Aisleyne til near the end. She was one of the all time great housemates for me, because she truly did change. She was the housemate that the phrase "journey" was first applied to. And she really did go on one.

And you had to be pretty hard hearted to not feel something on final night, watching her astonishment as the names that got read out weren't hers!

I loved Glynn more though!

Brisket... I would LOVE to have a favourite. Its a soulless Big Brother for me, as I cannot find enough good in any of them for me to support!

I envy those of you who have favourites in there!
I agree its a useless BB... I had favorites but they have either been evicted or disappointed... So Im supporting the neutral housemates from a distance now Big Grin

It's weird though because I liked it in Science, but with her I was just thinking trying to be something she's not kind of thing but she was an individual and definetly had personality thats for sure.

I've said from day 1 that I didn't like Freddie and like many I suspect, I didn't want to kick the man when he was down and certainly didn't approve of the bullying. Now that's changed I feel more able to express my distaste for his arrogance and superiority- maybe what the others didn't like all along?

That was it though Darlo... she was trying to be something she wasn't. She has built up this "hard girl" exterior. And then as big brother went on, it got knocked down bit by bit. Til the Aisleyne that came out of the house looked and was totally different.

Hence the phrase "I know myself"

I didn't watch much of the start of that series as the original HMs seemed so boring. What made the Aisleyne 'journey' was that she was involved in a big twist, that was it really. Could have been anyone.

I only started watching alot of that series once the new HMs came in and Aisleyne didn't seem to me to be that great. Towards the end her fans were desperately trying to make out she was getting bullied when she obviously wasn't. She was just crying alot because she had got tired of the house.

I see you mention Glyn but don't even mention Jennie, she had long chats with him at night which made the show worth watching more.

Glynn was my fave. I loved Glynn, cos he made me laugh SO much. I could never class myself as a Aisleyne fan, and I certainly don't think she was bullied. For me, Aisleyne's experience was very much a personal one. Her biggest battles were with herself.

It`s strange how we can watch the same programme and have different views.
I don`t see any arrogance or superiority in Freddie. (These are not necessarily class traits - anyone can have them.) I see a perfectly nice chap with a good heart.
But if we didn`t see things differently it wouldn`t be so much fun on the forum would it?

It wouldn't...and we can all change our mind. What I found most hilarious in the early days was the assumption that anyone who took an instant dislike to him had a local accent, a state education and lived in social housing PMSL

And having had a few days of absolute dismay and ... well I felt quite isolated really... when everyone loved Bea, and I couldn't get my head round why.... I have now watched it all turn around.

And... the only two people on this forum that I have done the 'told you so' thing to are Ros (who got the 'told you so dance') and you! Cos I know you'd take it in the light hearted manner in which it is meant! Big Grin

Ducky has a full on pom pom told you so dance coming to her... but she hasn't quite accepted that Bea ain't good! Laugh
