am seriously considering pulling out the ol z-bed 2 keep an eye on things 2nite (even tho I'm recording it) - what u lot think - should I???
z-bed as in sleep in lounge or go to bed where arial is broken so I cant have e4 on....
I'm sleeping in my living room in the moment because my dog has such bad arthritis, he can't get up on the bed anymore and I can't bare to have him away from me at night in case he thinks I'm deserting him. One of my couches is a pull out affair and we share that.
The poor thing, does he have medication? My sisters dog also is quite arthritic and has to have pain medication, it does help...

Yes, he's on Glucosamine, half a paracetomol and omega3 oil. The only other option would be steroid injection, but he's been overweight for years (have no idea why, he's been on diets, but nothing is shifting), so I don't want to go down that road.

I just cant muster any effort for any HM. Everytime I think I might like someone I can't help thinking 'but is that who BB want me to like'. The I read some really good posts on here and the next time streaming is on, it blows it out to the water. I feel like I am meeting myself coming backwards this year

awwwwww that is beautiful - I really mean it. Me n my daughter look after my parents dog a LOT and she always either sleeps on my bed or I get the fold out bed and we all sleep in my daughters room - all three of us together. I would LOVE to have a dog, but we cant because we live in a flat.
Good on you Cologne - I would sleep on the floor if it meant I could have my pet beside me - that is so lovely

Cheers. I could heeve him up on the bed, but then I get badly out of breath, so the sitting room it is for now, it's easier to hear him anyway when he wants to go out, I can hear him tippy-toeing in the kitchen. I don't know, the things we do eh? He's been my mate for nearly 13 years, so it's all good.

absolutely wonderful!!!!! You know - kiddies aside and all that - its been said on here LOADS of times before - pets ARE family. I would dearly love to have a dog and so would LJ (my daughter - I'm getting sick of calling her my daughter lol). It would make SO much of a difference for us to have that one little thing

I take it you're not in a ground floor flat or is it a problem to the landlord?
I do remember seing Kris and Charlie in the bath together at one point, but no haven't really seen much in the way of people being hygienic apart from the toothbrushing.quote:Originally posted by BARMY BRUMMIE:quote:Originally posted by Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing:

oh I know - have you seen Dogface or Karly wash their face yet coz I certainly havent - or Kris for that matter. I think I have seen Marcus have a wash twice since Sree told him that he stinks and Marcus does seem to want to brush his teeth a little bit more after Sree had a word lol

yes I am in a ground floor flat - LJ is in a wheelchair - but I'm sure our contract says that we cant have pets. As I said before - we look after my moms dog loads of times and we've had no complaints. But I'm sure that if I asked for permission, out of all four flats (one above me and two just over the way) - ONE person wouldnt agree to it - just because he CAN - (old man upstairs who moans about everything)
It really is a shame because no-one else would have a problem with it honestly

It is true... we dont really know whats going on in there. That chat Siavash and Noirin had they mentioned AGAIN about Freddie having a crush on Noirin. (well Marcus seem's to have told them anyway) Yet Noirin said tonight she doesn't know where that came from as she hardly speaks to him.WHAT IS GOING ON THAT WE DONT SEE Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I think they had cunningly put bubble bath in, so that we wouldn't be able to tell/see the evidence.quote:oh yes I forgot about that - was the water dirty or what!!!!

About 25 years ago when I decided to go back to Uni, we had to move from a little country cottage to a flat in a small town with bus connections to Plymouth. At the time we had 4 cats and 2 dogs. As I wasn't allowed animals, I never mentioned them and we got away with it for 2 years. Just get a dog and if the old boy objects, say it's your mum's dog, he'll never know the difference.
I don't think it's again as such. I think he takes about 10 minutes over it,quote:Originally posted by cologne1:

Oh yes, I'd forgotten that he'd gone there. Maybe they made him eat/drink something, so he had to go brush his teeth again.quote:Originally posted by cologne1:quote:Originally posted by mrMiller:

If he goes to the DR after this, LF is on a loop.

quite honestly I HAVE actually thought about asking for a pup or a birthday present (nothing I can do if its a present eh???) - but I would HATE to have to give it up tho.
Seriously Cologne this is one of the biggest gripes i have got with where we live, its dead nice and quiet and leafy (dead being the appropriate word) - me and LJ are the youngest people here - we have an old peoples home across the way as well. Me n LJ live in wheelchair adapted accommodation. The man in the flat opposite us is in a wheelchair, the couple above me n LJ are elderly and the woman in the flat above the elderly man in a wheelchair is an elderly woman. Me and LJ are the youngest people here (39 and 18).
We moved in here when I was 23 and LJ was nearly 2 - this is all we have known since then
sorry to harp on - but would it kill anyone to let us have a dog??
