At 08:05 tomorrow morning I will be boarding a train in Motherwell that will take me to Bristol via lots of places including Newcastle 10:38 - 10:44 ( @Saint , Sheffield 12:52 - 12:55 ( @Enthusiastic Contrafibularities  and a few more places before I alight at Bristol Temple Meads at  15:38.

 

Sorry if I've missed anyone out (of course you have, do you think there are only three of you on the forum? ), but I can't remember other people's locations clearly enough, for those who have made specific mention.

Are you going as far as London?

Yes, I'm on holiday, down here in Poole with my sisters.

Unfortunately,I was not on the platform side of the train, so did not get to see anything much of what was happening. There did seem to be a rather big crowd in one place in Sheffield station though!

Not sure how close to Darlington we passed, Joe

I think it's probably because Wednesday were playing Rangers and a lot of Rangers supports came down (7000).
