As has already been said..possible wiring problem

I've contacted a leccy to install a 2 gang socket but he hasn't got back to me as to when he can do it, although he said when he came to do the estimate this week that he couldn't do it until next week. I dunno whether to get him to look over the electrics *worries about cost*

Thats nice at this time of year  Theres a "film" on Netflix called "Fireplace For Your Home" - just a log fire burning with crackling noises and Christmas carols.

I'm gonna play it and light candles to feel Christmassy

I've seen an app somewhere like that. Just a roaring fire going

I do have a fireplace but the fire's very rarely on. I normally put the heating on. I've got a large vase with dried grasses and reeds in, in front of the gas fire

Same here. It's one of these gas fires with the pretend coal.

Yeah,I get real flames, when I can be harassed to bend down and ignite the gas, but it's not often I do that (due to an ongoing problem with my leg that doesn't allow me to bend properly now)
