I may have to shout at some new people that have moved into our road first though cos they have been blaring their music all afternoon....though it's not quite as bad as yesterday when we had to shut all our doors and windows cos of the noise!

Husband told me earlier that he dreamed about my mum last night and they had a right good chat....he then mentioned something about her having a tooth missing and was a bit freaked when i told him that the one she had missing in his dream was actually where she had a false one which he never knew about when she was alive.

right, it goes with a curry
shredded cabbage
thin stips of carrots
mustard and cumin seeds-not powder
tumeric
chillies
lemon juice
sugar
salt
onions salt and oil
heat the oil add mustard seeds and cumin seeds-wait til the mustard seeds pop-add cut chillies, cabbage, carrots, tumeric, salt-fry for a couple of mins-then add lemon juice and sugar and onions-fry for another couple of mins
its really nice-so make loads

I do Karms...and a few years ago I found it in Clintons on one of those small card thingymebob for the wallet. I bought one for him...he was pleased for all 2 months, then took it out and stuck it in his drawers....pfffft!

I'm ok thanks missus, just had a bit of a mental moment this afternoon when I was pondering on washing the dishes. You know when you sometimes wonder what's it all about and whether your life was mapped out for you? Turn a different corner and all that...I dunno, I just see some people who manage to get it so right.

Well I always think that people like that, who seems to slide through life without having major issues or whatever, are just exceptionally good actors and only showing people the image they wish to present to the world.

I know what you mean, I have them moments all the time. I was at my parents this week and the night before I was due back I couldn't sleep. The room I was sleeping in was the room I used to have as a kid, and I saw my life as a kid, as a teenager, as a grown up just flashing before me.....weird.
I'll just have teh slap without the drink I think!

It just bugs me how most people I know seem to sail through life with hardly a problem and they are the biggest bar stewards you ever meet. And the genuinely lovely , sweet people just hit disaster after disaster

That happened to me too which is what got me thinking! I went back to 13, then the whole lot seemed to flash by with photographic memories and tunes and stuff. Weird. I need a hobby don't I

Hubby had three interviews in the last two weeks... had two 'no thank you's'... but we are waiting to hear from the third... I daredn't hope that he gets it... well I am hoping, but am also trying to work out what I can say to keep his motivation and spirits up if he doesn't.
I'm not sure spouting a poem at him will be well received initially...
I'll have to pick my moment very carefully!
