We never phoned each other, just took it for granted that the arrangements stood unless otherwise notified.  And we COPED.

I was gifted a thumb size, mother of pearl with 5 diamond studs mobile phone from Motorola as a thank you

I bet that's a bugger to text on!

Ha, you bet it was

Funnily enough video calling was in by then and I had no use for the phone.

But it was and is pretty.  Got a watch to match too (also unused).

Me, I leave my troubles behind when I go on holiday, they will still be waiting when I get home.

My (1st) wedding photos were shite due to some technical failure - aka the photographer.

I take at least 5 shots when I use my camera phone these days (am crap at photography - just like my wedding snapper )  I figure I must at least get ONE decent photo out of my trigger finger frenzy.

Captured images from pre 2005 are surely going to seem scarce in the future - given this ability to snap endlessly?

Remember Steve Walsh and his love of the Fat Back Band?  *sigh*

What a character RIP

I don't even dare to google to see how long ago he passed.

Yes indeed.

And by now I've maintained the escaped convict look to a T.

I have one somewhere - well a strip of 4 actually - i'm aged 7/8 wearing a wing collared shirt with little aeroplane patterns (ironically) all over it - the '70's remain hard to beat when it comes to ugly clothing!

I've spent years honing this to an elevated standard and feel I now present such wisdom and insight with aplomb and panache  *cough*

It sure was  And I think I had a blouse like that too C.S... anyway there were lots of ill-advised fabrics around.

How? I always look devious in mine.....

I just re-read and you look as guilty as I do......

It's a look that not all can cultivate, Syd.  We're an envied rare breed

Crymplene!. I had a pink 'puff sleeved shirt' that I loved   I always wore it with a navy blue tank top and a navy blue flared crymplene skirt with two thin red bands around the bottom!   I've got a photie somewhere. If I can do it I'll post it
