The glory of our Lord Jesus Christ was bubbling up in Dave's belly last night. This resulted in Dave diving onto the girls' beds in the darkness.
He also seemed to acquire super human abilities and was able to perform a good 4 or 5 sit ups.
He also told Corin some fascinating (and completely believable!!) stories of supernatural occurances he has personally witnessed over the years, all attributed to the glory of God.
These stories included one time when Dave was chillin' in his prayer room he become overcome with the love of our Lord. He felt his skin blistering with the warm of God's love. A few hours later he nipped into the local Tesco to get a ginsters steak and onion pasty, and TWO people stopped him and asked if he'd been on holiday because he'd turned darker skinned than Corin. Was it the Lord giving Dave a holy sun tan? Was it Jaundice? Crazy shit, I trust you'll agree.
Dave also mentioned one time in USA when his American mate was buzzing his tits off on the Lord. He turned to Dave and said, "dude, I'm totally going to jump over that car!". His mate then ran at the car, leaped into the air, and jumped it with a good 4 foot clearance. Not content with this display of super-human strength and power, he then turned to Dave and said, "dude, I'm totally going to run up that wall!". Like something from the Matrix movies, he ran towards the wall and sure enough ran a good 10 foot up the wall, stopped, posed for a camera shot, and then elegantly descended back to the ground.
Aspiring and motivating first hand eye witness accounts such as these make me regret turning my back on religion........... Naw not really.
