I'm pretty certain that's Murdoch sen. wife.

well... she is infuriating my daughter, who reckons she is posing & hair flicking to try & distract the [quote] "interrogators"..

she finished off her little rant with a " pfft.... bloody postbox!"

I was watching something last night and they were saying they suspect that he has been instructed to try to remain as quiet as possible because he is not good under pressure. They say he is inarticulate, set in his ways, doesn't like having to answer to anyone and likely to loose his temper.  Lets hope he doesn't listen to their advice.

But the questions are so stupid ... "What coaching have you had for this session?"

What's the point of that question?

Because Rexicles my lovely smiling face,  as I stated in my post up there ^^^^^^  The Murdochs appear to be replying to a script whereby they saw nothing, heard nothing and know nothing so in essence, they are being less than truthful and this chappie knows it and is pointing it out to James that he knows it  They've definitely been coached about what to respond to and when to play dumb

Alright ... I promise to concentrate for a bit ... but I do wish someone had coached the panel so that their was some kind of cohesion and building-up of questioning, rather than a load of disjointed questions.

But ... I will be good now and promise to pay attention

see through the mist of James' words - they are meant to confuddle you

Some of the questions are a bit disjointed but a lot of them are very relevant and aren't being answered because either Rupert doesn't remember, doesn't know or James wasn't working in the company at that time

ok am showing my ignorance of politics and related stuff here but what happens when this committee is finished asking questions?  What can they do? they aren't a court of law are they?

do they sentence them to 6 of the best if found guilty of something or recommend it goes to criminal proceedings in which case is this not  a form of questioning but a kind of deposition to use ma USA phrase but without lawyers .. and if that's the case why not go straight to court and save money..

or am I rambling with no coherent thought process

buga all same as last time I suspect.  They've been asked to answer questions which they (the Murdochs) have so far avoided and which others from News Corp avoided when this first was questioned many years ago.

They appear to be answering very little just in case they say something that they could be prosecuted for

This is just an expensive waste of time financially and in air time but it gives the allusion that something is being done for the public - well that's my take on it anyway and whadda I know
