Sam managed to stir trouble in the house this evening, as he told Josie that he thought she would love to sell a story about her relationship with John James to the newspapers.
After realising that the Bristolian was offended by his remarks, some of the group leapt to her defence, and Andrew and JJ confronted the newcomer during a chat in the garden.
"Obviously you don't give a shit," began JJ. "You can't base your opinions on stuff you've seen on the telly."
Andrew added: "You've made it out like they're only friends because [Josie]'s after the money," as Rachel recommended that he take other people's feelings into consideration before opening his mouth to speak. "I think [Josie]'s dealt with you quite well. You've called her some horrible names... In her defence she's been pretty cool about it," she added.
"I didn't say Josie's love towards John James is fake," stormed the graffiti artist. "But it sounded like you said she was only doing that to get a magazine deal," protested Rachel, as Andrew fumed: "There's no point shaking your head, we all heard it!"
"I just think she'll like to tell [the press] what's happened and I think she'll like to appear on the TV," said Sam, continuing to defend himself. "But not where her relationship's concerned... They're really personal about it," replied Rachel, as Andrew pointed out that this is hardly the first instance that Sam has said something that has offended someone.
"You just need wisdom to be able to appropriate things... There's nothing wrong with you having your opinions and judging stuff but with that you need to have wisdom," said David, pointing out that most of the group has seen the relationship develop from the outset and hasn't seen it fit to pry into their feelings for one another.
"I'm not going to dumb down my personality," blasted Sam. "Well don't be surprised if people distance themselves from you," the minister told him. "Be who you are, don't restrain your opinions... We're just saying, dude, we can all see how that might majorly backfire."

Well, Sam is there and I have been watching Sherlock, the News, Parliament, doing a crossword, because I find Sam a massive and obvious irritation. Intensely annoying.
Of course I have also checked the BB programmes, but they don't grab my attention as they used to - even less so now that this confrontational nincompoop called Sam has arrived.
It's all a bit obvious, contrived and daft!
Disappointing for a final series.

Agree!I don't like him one bit but am glad he has gone in to stir things up. I don't want to watch a duvet anymore
I don't like Sam that much, more so his manersisms and the way he talks BUT, he's certainly giving the place a shake up and I have to say he's making interesting viewing.
He's different than the likes of Shabby, I don't think he has his own personal agenda and knows he won't last long...he's just saying what most folks are thinking....I notice JJ1 has been quite pleasant to him so far....I guess JJ is very threatened by him and his being so forthright...as they say 'Keep your friends close, & your enemies closer'....
...overall, irritating as he is...I'm glad he's there...

JJ constantly goes on about game players and questioning ,ironic really as he is more desperate than any to win....IMO he is confused by Sam,he is trying to work out why as being the BB expert he knows Sams chances of winning are almost non existent...JJ is threatened, off course he is threatened and we saw he chooses his targets carefully,Sam is a right thorn in his side atm and he can't do much about it.Reference:
Let's be honest,if Sam was not there what would we be watching?
A slightly less irritating Big Brother.Sam really gets my goat.
Wearing a top hat - reminiscent of Shabby's 'quirkiness'.
And that awful voice of his. No letter T, loads of glottal stops, camp inflections, all done in a drone. I want to gag him!
Its very mean of me but I hate the way Sam's mouth hangs open, like horrible Dale last year
Sam's sole purpose from BB's point of view is to make J.J and Josie seem more interesting and come out from the Duvet of Dullness!

Brisket, you forgot to mention fink instead of think!
I can stand him, so much so that I switched of last night

Same here Lockes. I watched Sherlock instead of the highlights. Then during the live programme later I reached a point of numbness and irritation, and switched off too.
