I think that the names are largely interchangeable sezit, but that lemon cheese is, technically, curd cheese flavoured with lemon
I didn't know there was a difference between lemon curd and lemon cheese.

Disect, discuss and avoid any mention of lettuce!
Lemon curd is lovely. Marmalade is evil, especially the stringy bits of orange peel.
Nutella is the food of the gods.
I just wanted to register a complaint about this thread re my efforts to letticify you and your lack of appreciation.
Did you know how difficult it was for me to find ANYONE wearing lettuce? Then all you did was pick at it
I could have posted this and ruined your weekend

For Baby Bunny, next time you are in New York, pop into Mr K's chinese restaurant on Lexington Avenue and order some Bean Curd & Vegetable In Lettuce Curd. It's there on the menu.
I haven't had lemon curd for years. I do like lime marmalade though.

I like the sound of the banana curd, and I love lemon curd.
How healthy (or not) do you think these recipes would be?

Well, the webpage for the banana curd has a comment by someone that the receipe is semi-healthy. My view is that unless you've got some particular health risk that a mix of foods not eaten to excess is the best policy. Sure, the receipe has saturated fat and sugar in it, but as long as you don't go over the recommended levels on a regular basis, it doesn't matter.
