I don`t think you`re unfeeling Renton. With what I see of you, I think you`re a good man with feelings. I`m glad you haven`t had a reason to cry.

I cried a wee bit yesterday when I saw my Mum`s favourite cup in my cupboard. I see it everyday but for some reason it made me bubble. It`s been 10 years but I still miss my Mum so much.

On a more serious note...  a few weeks ago I was having a shitty time at work and was majorly stressed... and then my  Dad became unwell... I'd had an unsettling phone update on him around midnight and it was the last straw. got into bed.. wailed like a babby for a bit     He's fine again now, thankfully so I can laugh at myself now.

Dame, I didn't know your mum had passed away. I remember you mentioning her often on here. My sincere condolences

And Ells, one for you too

I cry more at joyous events, when my heart fills with pride and emotion takes over me. The last time I wept like a baby in public was this July when my younger son went to his primary school leaving service a year early (he left in year 5 instead of year of year 6) because he'd won a scholarship to a secondary school. His older brother had always been the main focus for most of his life because of health problems, and my younger boy had plodded away without complaining or attention seeking. I just felt so proud to know the little fella, let alone be his mum.
