The main intention is to make lots of money from the voting to evict, so they have to put people in there who are generally irritating enough to warrant the public getting naffed off enough with them to pay to evict. The more irritating..the longer it is in the interests of BB to keep them in.
Have you noticed thought that even when they are evicted they are not asked pertinent questions about their behaviour? This is because it no longer really matters, they've served their purpose...they got people mad enough to vote...deep post-mortems are irrelevant to Endimol.
