I was ordered to bed by my mate to try and get some kip, I listened of course and guess what...... I have had the best nights kip for months. So sorry to each and every one of you but it seems yesterdays pains were all a false alarm. Hope none of you lost any sleep lol
Maybe I have had the last goodnights sleep for years tho xx

8th??? That's a rubbish day. Let's bring it forward one day and make it the 7th I've always thought the 7th, but the 8th is my foster daughter's birthday so that must be why I put that.
You will go into labour on Saturday and have baby girl in the early hours of Sunday
I predicted a boy on the 4th at 9pm!
What's happening, wasn't she having contractions last night?

That's it you'll have the baby on Friday the 5th - my son's 22nd - I still think it'll be a 7lb 2oz boy tho' - my son was born 06.45 btw. My theory of the 2nd was wrong I guess!
Keep well and get all the rest you can for now? If you're having the baby in Singleton hospital, I'll pop in!

Well a webcam cam would be amusing tbh but for the squeamish FMs I guess we could ask her to avoid the goal end. I mean it'll be something for her to do when she's bored of just laying there.
Im at home doing all the boring stuff, just been up and stripped the beds, so now I can sit until they are washed lol

Don`t fret, Sheepy, it won`t be long now. I predicted 4th of June for lamb`s delivery, so you only need to hang on for another 13 hours.

My house was like ideal homes. I remember sitting making a mobile to hang over the cot. Took me yonks to do it, I was nearly cross eyed lacing the strings. As soon as it was finished I was on my way to the hospital.

I used to knit matinee coats like fury, strange isn't it? There really is an instinct to have everything just so.

Absolutely...we`re like birds preparing the nest for their chicks.
I love matinee coats. Oh no I`m getting broody.

At 51 I'm definitely not broody - never thought I'd feel that way but thank goodness I never went for the fourth baby - now they're 27, 23 and 22 and worse! Babies bore me after they're 6 weeks old. I'll knit the matinee coats, you have the babies, that's fair, isn't it?
g'luck sheep.

Sorry for late reply..phone rang, my pal can speak for Scotland.
I`m just a wee bit older than you gma so no more matinee coats for me either...thankyou anyway.
Babies bore me UP to 6 weeks, after that I`m in heaven. I love when they start to crawl.
My two boys are 33 and 23..still a couple of pests..Mum Mum..aaaaah!
But like you gma, I`m glad it`s over....Freeeedom! (to a degree )

Just the menopause now! Apparently I'm 'in the mode'. I've only got my 23 yr old daughter home - she's like Kevin from 'Kevin & Perry'! I don't crave grandchildren either - I too want the freedom! I worked as a registered childminder when mine were little so I need a break!
(If I'm late replying, I'm bleaching the grey back to blonde and packing suitcases to go to the MIL's next week). Ill pop back and forth tho' - this forum has my priority.

You`re hilarious!
I know what you mean though gma. I don`t want to end up like my Mum..babysitting grandchildren. (I feel selfish saying that)
As much as I would love them, like you, I need a break. I can`t see it happening though...unless I emigrate.
No Lamb yet? I had you down for 3rd June so you need to get a move on Sheepy . God, some people are so selfish. mad: You seem to be forgetting that this is my practice run and I need you to be much more efficient.
Ooops gma forgot to say I`m going through the menopause..that`s why I forgot to say

I thought it was the wine making me forgetful, honestly - but then I realised I was the same the days I didn't have wine! It is real isn't it? Apparently I'm 64 on the FSH count... . I went to a doctor who wasn't my usual doc last month and she has sent me to a gynaecologist - the computer generated letter arrived yesterday - just as 'the monthlies' are calming down and I don't have to take those awful bloodclotting tablets out of desperation! My 'normal' (?) GP used to sit behind me at school but we have never acknowledge the fact - he just arrived at the practice about 20 yrs ago. Plonker (despite the fact his late father was one of the best heart surgeons in the world ) , he reckoned all was ok, this woman doc has sent me off with another FSH test and an appointment! (Should I be in the 'menopause thread?)
Anyhow, bleach is on hair...I have to brave opening the suitcases and packing clothes for real, I'm under threat not to over pack!
