Thye do get worse as you get near the end though....I had ones (with the first) that i thought may be labour....when I actually went into labour though I knew the difference!!!
Yes I remember not being able to sit, stand, squat lol
First thing I remember about labour was going to the loo to empty my bowels....which meant I never poooed during birth so it was all good!
Oh I was at the hospital when I was having my son and was desperate for a no 2 and the midwifes wouldnt let me go and said it was the pressure of the babies head. I tried and tried, but they wouldnt let me out the birthing room. She realised after that I was telling the truth.
Didnt happen when I had my daughter tho lol

*waits for updates*
I've been following this saga for ever, wish you'd hurry up and put us all out of our misery
I barely got a warning when my daughter was arriving, started getting a funny feeling xmas eve, dismissed it went to bed, tossed an turned for hours... got up about 4am, walked around, the funny feeling continued and started to get a little stronger, had a cup of coffee, watched the tv, then decided that I had better go to the hospital at 5:30am
Got there are 5:55am, needed to go to the toilet, only I didn't!
Midwife rushed me onto a trolley, she was born at 6:05 am
That's the way to do it!

homeopathic cholophyllum, i took it at 9pm, gentle contractions started at midnight, 9cms by the time the midwife came out at 8am. all things being equal i should've had sproglet by lunchtime but the little swine had her hand up round her head struggled her out at 6.30pm.
but in a normal presentation you'd need someone at the other side of the room to catch the little blighter
and where is sheepy?

To tell you the truth I am scared more than excited. I haemorraged after I had my son 16 years ago, I lost 800ml of blood.
I went on to have a normal straight forward birth with my daughter, but for some reason this time around they are saying that the 3rd is unpredicable and that they are taking no risks and preparing incase the same thing happens as my first.
With that in mind it has somehow overtaken any excitment of giving birth and holding my baby, as it all happened during the 6 hours following the birth.
So I am scared to say the least.
Good luck Sheep, all our good wishes are with you.
Good luck Sheep Hope it all goes smoothly and we will all be awaiting news of the new baba

Wishing you all the best Sheepie, and please remember that things have changed a lot for the better in the last 16 years plus it sounds like they are pretty clued up too x
