yup, it really does work, when I was working as a midwife, and a woman's labour stopped, many a time the partners were left to, ahem, have a game of scrabble. Nipple tweaks work as well

It was a home birth..I wanted a bit of fresh air...which it was cos it was 6am in January!

I admire you Croc...I couldn`t walk for a few days.
I then went in the kitchen and did a huge fry up cos I'd had 9 months of being sick what with monring sickness and then chronic heartburn...I was just so glad to be able to eat....strangely enough though the curry the night before hadn't made me sick.

Strange how it all works..I was sick for 9 months too Croc and after my son`s birth I was like the projectile exorcist for 20 minutes. After that I ate anything I could get my hands on. Craved curry..got home and had a Madras with the works...mmmmm
I got worse with each kid...nothing with the first then 9 months of sickness with the last...still it meant i put on hardly any weight...i lost a lb with no 3 and only put on 7lb with number 4...(and he was 9lb)

Imagine that? 9lbs..more than the weight you put on. I have two (7.6 and 8.4.)was sick for (almost) 9 months with both, put on I think, about 12lbs and was back to my size after a couple of weeks. I was breast feeding so my top part was full and my bottom part was slim. It felt odd. I looked a bit like superwoman.
With my daughter I put on no weight and she was 8lb (her and the last one were both a fortnight early thankfully)
And yet after I had them i still weighed the same as before...how does that work?

Im hoping that baby comes on June 3rd as it was my nans and my grandads birthday.
I got up today with a spring in my step and I even contemplated going for a long walk, I have been up to my friends house which is 5 mins walk and I ache like I have never ached before, think the baby has shoulders like Hulk Hogan.

Hi Sheep hope you are doing ok.
Im doing ok, aching lower part of my tum tums. Woke up in the night to be sick etc, dont know if thats a sign that my body is clearing me out (sorry if tmi).
Just a waiting game now I guess. I cant even go for a walk like I want to cos I ache too much and have to walk at snails pace.
Going to take my daughter to school now and be attacked for still having my bump.

My daughter was 7 days overdue, she was going to have a 'sweep' on the tuesday...she did start to explain it to me, but i just shut off once she metioned fingers and stretching
