My God this woman is a weirdo!! I really can't stand her wth the entire I'm so eccentric thing.

I also don't think she is good-looking quite ugly actually..the reason i say this is because she talks about her 'beauty' in a lot of interviews.

I say this because I'm watching her interview on JR...she's a bit crazy... like her music but!

Hey you know what I'm finding offensive of late though? That new Pink Vid where she's beating up her other half? I see the humour and all, but just think if it was the other way around...there'd be uproar about it.

Havnt seen it but there is alot of that going on... Female lib gone wild I tell ya.... The video would have been banned if it were the reverse....

I really liked Just Dance and Poker Face is OK, and she sounds a bit like Madonna to me, but with a bit of a deeper tone to her voice... So I don't DISlike her singing and her songs....

BUT her album is average...not bad but average.

Now the negative: The thing I 'don't' like about her, is how he is being hoisted forward and presenting herself, as some kind of magical musical genius and inspirational gifted talent.

She acts like she is Madonna, who, love her or loathe her, is a good songwriter, a good dancer, a good performer and she has really lasted well in the charts. Lady gaga is NOT in the same league as Madonna... 2 hits does not a brilliant innovative artist make.

I am kind of under the impression that she thinks she is a LOT bigger than she is. She is certainly not ugly, but the whole image is dire, and the ghastly outfits are awful.

She has a LONG way to go before I would class her as a big 'star.' At the moment, she is a newbie to me, and is far too new and inexperienced to be the brilliant sensation she is being made out to be...

Madonna a songwriter? That woman buys her hits... I like Madonna but she surrounds herself with the most successful producers and songwriters of the moment... That's why she can go from a dance album to a hiphop album....

Back to Gaga I agree with you in that she believes she is a genius and deserves the attention and success... She has been a successful songwriter in the past so I give her that but her attitude is that of an established star which is irritating... She has also surrounded herself with big hiphop producers that hooked her up with fantastic beats.

Having said all that I think her album is ok with a couple of hits(that I like) in it but lets see what her second effort would be like.

Did like Just Dance a lot though and her album is OK, and I don't dislike Lady gaga.... but she is certainly not the brilliant talented innovative artist she is being made out to be. Not in my opinion anyway. It's far too early in her career to label her in that manner...

Im not sure but she has been in the Music Industry writing hits for some of the big artists... That's the new trend now songwriters dont want to be in the background anymore they want the whole cake now

Hi PCE... Madonna has written most of her own songs... AND some of her own hits... at least the lyrics anyway... I think she has contributed the musical side in some of them too. can't think EXACTLY which ones without looking it up... She is a very good songwriter and is more talented than some think.

Not the best singer, but a good songwriter...

Most of the True Blue and Like a Prayer album was written by her.., and some of the Like a Virgin album,,, and I am sure she has written at least half of everything since...

In fact some of the 'Like a prayer' album's songs were dedicated to Sean penn, her first hubby, and all about their break up.. But yes indeed, she has written many many songs... FAR more than Ms gaga

(Then again she is some 25 years older.) I just don't think Lady Gaga is in the same league as Madonna, but she kind of acts like she does..

As I said earlier, the current trend now is that songwriters are stepping out from behind the scenes and the majority of the ones I know are very cocky, because they have written hits for popular artists..
