seriously?    It's been going through the longest lingering death imo.  Maybe it can now be resuscitated?

In the old days of LF, there were thread titles detailing every little event in the house, including who had walked etc. It's only in more recent times that everything seems to be a "spoiler" until it has been aired in the HL's show. Don't worry about it, Pengy.

To be fair though... most of the 'Fred has walked...' thread usually continued '... into the kitchen'     

.. and don't feel bad Pengy, although I'd prefer big 'news' like that not to be in the title if I'm honest... .I don't have many surprises in life,   and I don't have the time (or inclination) to read all the twitter and FB updates - I like my BB in HL form.   

It's easy to see things out of context. I saw about ten minutes last night which seemed to consist of that actress one following and harassing  him all over the place! To be fair I did recognise two or three.

He was on a wind up... and Nadia gave him enough rope, then tied the noose then dropped the trap door - but it was his refusal to stop using racially offensive words that actually got him kicked out.

It came as news to me that the word 'negro' was racist, not that it's a word I have ever had occasion to use,I think in the context that Ken used it,it was racist,I hadn't realised until Alex said it was offensive,that it was.

 

So basically, it's not something I ahd ever thought about.

 

Of course everyone knows the other N word is highly offensive, because of it's history, so I suppose it's the same with this other N word.

Same here tbh - and obviously Ken felt the same the first time.   His problem was he repeated it knowing it was offensive, so they'd no choice but to, rightly imo, kick him out for it.

Well.. I think that's a good point...  the same as Marcus being a perv because he wasn't good looking, but the 'hotties' get a lot more leeway imo.

I don't like Ken either... and I dislike Nadia and Perez just as much for different reasons.

I thought it was interesting that a person watching the Loose Women interview emailed in to say how is it Ken is getting flack for being a dirty old man and thrown out yet Edwina Currie who also physically manhandled some of the men on IAC as well as making salacious comments was allowed to stay..

Not saying his continuous use of a word that he was told was unacceptable to use didn't warrant him being thrown out..

 

I still think he's a dirty old man same as I think she's a dirty old woman.. sometimes, when you get older, you have to realise that you are past the age of it being ok to fondle or ogle or play around with the really young ones.. I am an oldie, but not as old as them and get annoyed that BB put in hotties that are much too young for me to feel comfortable lusting after anymore.. when it first started the age gap to the younger ones wasn't so big so I didn't feel sleazy, I do now tho. .having said that all the younger men, indeed all the men, haven't been very hot in the past few BB's anyway so I'm not missing out on a bit of crushing on a TV person

But the context of his using the word again was in re telling a funny interaction between himself and Frank Bruno, so he relayed the exact text of the conversation with Frank.

 

I am honestly finding it hard to see any racist in tent.

I don't believe there was racist intent in that conversation either, JB - in fact, Cheggers laughed and said 'Frank loved all that....'   I thought he might have been referring to the banter - they certainly didn't seem to be being nasty at the time.    He still should have known better than to say it again though after having been given a warning  and I think he was pushing to be kicked out.  Daft sod.
