Didn't she have a rant about the mansion tax at some point?

No idea whether she talked about the mansion tax.

But, saying she's self serving because when she was younger all she talked about was youth, and now she's older all she talks about is pensioners? What do you expect her to do? Surely her opinions and values have grown and aged with her? Pretty much like all of ours?

and buggers off to the next victim

I expected more from old Jan. I can't believe she let herself be smacked down by KH.

if the argument wasnt on tv but in the pub etc...

JSP wouldve ate KH up & spat her out

How the hell would you know that?

What has location to do with it?

its an opinion

you must know what an opinion is

you seem to have plenty of them

Not really, you don't have to be in a demographic to push for its concerns.

Well sure, when she was young she was all for the young, now she's old, she's all for the old.  Matured? Not in my eyes.

There are many pensioners who'd argue on behalf of the young and many young who'd argue on behalf of the old.  You don't have to be in the demographic to push its case.  You do if you're JSP!

I didn't say that a person had to be in that demographic to argue the point. I said our opinions and values change with age, and I imagine also experience. When I was young, I had no idea what older generations had to deal with, so I thought only about the young.

But now as a middle aged woman with a older teenager and elderly parents I think of the concerns for all of us. Give me another 30 years, when I am a pensioner, I'll probably be concerned with how my demographic are being treated. You know, by then, my children I'm now concerned with will then be adults worrying about their children and, hopefully, us.
