Didnt see This Morning. cant believe she is out already. What,s the point of being given 8 years and only doing 4 ??

her sister was on this morning basically trying to defend her....disgusting! I hope to god she is never allowed near kids again.....I think she is being given a whole new ID so doubt that means she will get her kids back....

Would find it hard to defend her if she was my sister. She is still young enough to have more kids, thats a scary thought...

It was actually her friend on This Morning - apparently the only friend she has .......can't think why . And she will be taking steps to have her children back living with her. Her friends says she doesn't accept that she is guilty of anything . Someone speaking on her behalf said she has told so many lies and they got bigger and bigger and she ended up believing them.

Oh, I assumed it was her sister,thought they looked alike, and assumed only a family member would attempt to defend her behaviour

Well doesnt take away the fact that she or her accomplice drugged and hid Shannon. Cant see her getting her kids back, can you?

I hope to god not, and if she does, I totally give up on the justice system in this country!

I sincerely hope she doesn't get her kids back or God forbid start breeding again!

That makes me feel a bit sick in more ways than one

Matthews will be released on parole and will have to stay in a half way hostel under supervision. She will have to comply with various requirements otherwise she would be sent back to prison to serve the rest of her sentence. I would assume that one of those requirements is that she makes no contact with her children other than under controlled circumstances. Her 7 children including Shannon are in care with new identities.

I can't see her being allowed to get any of her children back unless she can prove beyond doubt that she has changed and is able to properly look after a child.

anyhoo - what annoys me as much as Matthews getting out early, is the fact that she is given a whole new identity - who pays for that then?  hmmm

i realise she wouldnt be able to go back to where she lived before, but hey-ho she made her bed !

Her sentence is a social one - social hatred and exclusion

The law now pertains to the streets and whether or not she will be socially "forgiven"

Justice is by the mob - not the courts

I read in the papers a few weeks ago that she was due for parole and I couldn't believe she was eligible for it so soon 

This piece in the paper said that Shannon is still traumatised by what happened to her   I think it highly unlikely that she will get any of her children back  but I think it's a given that she'll breed more after all, she treated her children as nothing more than cash cows   The biggest thing that this piece said was that she doesn't think she's done anything wrong and refuses to accept her behaviour towards Shannon and her other children was wrong.  No remorse for what she's done and a 'poor me' act for being the pariah of Dewsbury
