First let me explain that I'm not a Marcus fan, but even so, the way Sophie belittled Marcus's physical appearance during her Diary Room rant was absolutely awful and unnecessary.

What exactly had Marcus done wrong? From what I've seen, Sophie stole a can of his cider, and Marcus calmly explained that he didn't appreciate having people going through his belongings, particularly as he'd asked Sophie specifically not to do it earlier that evening.

Very disappointing, Sophie.Shake Head

It is rather odd that the perpretator takes on the status of victim! ConfusedI have noticed though that Charlie has become invisable in all this again! Roll Eyes

I thought the DR was the correct place to let off steam.

Marcus ripped Bea's physical appearance apart (his puppet description) in front of all the other housemates a couple of nights ago.

I see an anti Sophie bandwagon rolling into town after the HL show tonight - but i should be used to the fickle nature and double-standards of this forum by now. Roll Eyes

Well I disagree.

To say the only reason it annoyed me that she ridiculed the appearance of another human being, is because I'm worried she'll win, is completely inaccurate, and also utterly dismissive of the unnecessary nastiness of what she'd said.

Part of being a fan is accepting that your housemate is not always right. Sophie was bang out of order when she belittled Marcus tonight. That's all there is to it.

I agree and it shows a severe lack of intelligence when people use belittling peoples physical appearance as a form of insult.

She's acting thick but she IS unintelligent..... Not a nice girl imo and she's always had that nasty streak since day 1.

But Bea hadn't fooled Marcus with her act and he had been forced into rubbing along with her since Freddie's eviction, knowing that she had caused his friend untold hurt. Under those circumstances, i would have been very surprised had he said meekly "Yes, I fink she is very pritty." Marcus expressed how he felt. He didn't steal from Bea oir use his personal opinion of her as an excuse to steal from her.

To be honest I think we are not seeing a lot of the annoyance between marcus and sophie...she has definitely upped the 'act thick and get the vote' game in the last couple of days, and marcus has not hidden his total boredom with her when she launches into dizzy blonde mode.

They haven't liked each other from the outset, well more her not liking him, but they have suffered each other, they know they wont need to do that for much longer and now can't be bothered hiding their feelings.

But he did let himself down by not confronting charlie too....but charlie hasnt annoyed him throughout the show so he didnt warrant a tongue lashing.
