Condoms. Easy. THAT'S the message, not projecting guilt onto people just living life their own way.
aye, funny how as someone who has had a few partners, i never felt any guilt until this thread
long as peeps are careful, then it doesn't matter. funny how a woman who does it makes people so shocked in comparison to a bloke doing the same. i've read worse things said about Bea tonight for sleeping with around 50 blokes, than i have heard about kris who had about 4 times as many sexual partners than that

Well maybe they're at risk too. Marriage is no protection from disease. I'm not preaching ...............I'm not telling folk not to have sex but ..............facts are facts. I just printed out what I have seen on the web.
God,I know
Justsome of the thread has been a bit judgemental and I thought that too much weight was given to the 'starting young' argument, when really it's about education and keeping people safe, not projecting guilt and using scare tactics.

It's basically because men were designed to be polygamous and father several children by several women at once, while women generally were created to be monogamous, having only one child at a time (mostly).

but women can store sperm (for upto 7 days)and the best swimmers fertilise the egg(s)...therefore not needing to be monogamous..in fact if there is more than one baby, that are not identical (ie diff eggs), they could very well have different dads. in some ape and monkey groups the females spread the love as much as the males.
besides...this is 2009 AD, not 10 000 BC
humans as a species have sex for pleasure. as do dolphins (dunno about other species yet). both humans and dolphins can get about abit.

True ............but I thought we'd evolved from monkeys Is going back in our developmental process such a good thing?

well it's not a bad thing sex and reproduction is actually the biggest instinct we have.....as with all animals.
these days though we have condoms (along with other contraception). if that isn't 'evolving' enough to be able to shag without having babies (ie have sex purely for pleasure) i dunno what is

Apart from the ones I regret obviously....lets just pretend they never happened.

But that's the thing .........we have evolved from animals haven't we? we don't shit in the street or wee where we stand. We know not to pick our noses in publice ...........we have evolved. Yes sex is nice but we really dont have to lay down with anyone that comes along as the mood takes us do we? I think being a little bit selective and having a bit of decorum is what sets us aside from other primates although .......................I have to say - we do seem to be regressing on that front.
Personally i dont see fear of pregnancy as a reason to be a bit selective TBH.
