I saw it, didn't realise the resemblance till you pointed it out,I went to my cenotaph today,as I have done for years,and was pleasantly surprised by the number of people that where there today, it seemed to drop off for years but people are going back which is good.
A good turn out in my hometown too! Still couldn't persuade my Dad to march. I thing Edward would be a great great uncle btw.

Yes , couldn't be arsed to work it out but he would be ................Margaret a great auntie and Edward great great uncle.Lovely march in our village today as always ............more than usual I think ........quite a few villagers have sons/daughters in the services - I guess 'rememberance' get's a bit closer to home when there is current conflict with service personnel losing lives.

What upsets me is the forgotten few, my husband was in Aden and in Ireland on bloody Sunday. these men where also at war, these men should also be remembered for what they did. thats y i get upset when there is not many people at memorial services.
