Roxi, please respect others' rights not to be interested, or constantly reminded. I'm sure there must be an MJ bereavement support forum somewhere you could join.

Yes it is a sad day for MJ fans but an 18 year old boy from my home town was killed in Afghanistan at the weekend,he was known to 2 of my brothers, lots of people grieving for lots of different reasons.
This is not meant to be controversial

perspective.........
As much as I`m sad for the loss of Michael. I don`t like being continually told by you Roxi, when to feel emotion or told I should respect his burial day.
You`re becoming trollish ..respect that view.

While we're on the subject, though, could someone please explain what can possibly be gained by dragging that hearse ALL OVER town
Bury him, cremate him - whatever - just let the poor sod finally rest in peace for pity's (and dignity's) sake!
Bunch of parasitical money-grabbing leeches Starting with that evil hatchet-faced family patriarch.

I've said nothing on the MJ stuff. I'm sorry if you feel his loss. I don't.. and that is for no more reason than I never knew the guy and was not a fan.
I respect your feelings and your opinion.. but my thoughts will be with those people (and the families of those people) who lost their lives or were injured this day, in the city where I live, on a transport system I travel.. ordinary people just going about their business.. that is more real to me.
I'm not having a go.. but today.. for quite a few people.. is not about MJ.

Whilst I myself am guilty of the same offence, if you hadn't all weighed in, this carp would have been off the bottom of the page where it belongs.

Hell, yes
Commentators have been looking for people to blame ever since he died - his doctors, the media, the lawyers, the entourage, blahblahblahh..
If you want to blame anyone for the way he turned out, try looking at the bloke who made him give up his childhood (for money) and ridiculed his looks until he changed them.

The jokes are not nasty, to me its a way of celebrating the life of MJ. But why is today all about MJ? You can't tell people to have him in their thoughts and prayers

The Welsh thing was to help identify them. If their demented screeching didn't

I don't miss darlo but it seems my rights not to be interested have been ignored....Why can't we just stay out of threads that don't interest us?..that way peace and harmony may prevail!!!.

That's the difference between 'please keep' and 'keep'.. the former is a request, the latter an order.
She posted 'please keep'.

Do you know what Choccy/Roxi? I really didn't have much of an opinion on Michael Jackson either way before he died. He didn't affect my life in any way; I didn't like his music or him, but I didn't loathe him either. Like most people, I thought he was a very flawed individual who lived a sad and solitary existence, and who was clearly obsessed about his appearance. I was very shocked by how his face had been mutilated in recent years.
My feelings towards Michael Jackson only began to change when you started your incessant insistence that everyone must respect him and afford him the same adoration that you do. If you want to worship him through rose coloured spectacles, then that is up to you. But most people don't take kindly to being ordered to give someone respect when they don't feel that they deserve it.
Why start yet another thread on this if you aren't intending to flame the forum yet again? Why don't you join the Michael Jackson forum where you will find thousands of like minded people who you can share your feelings with?

Why did you go into the Darlo thread then?

I take it these are the pair from Bridgend I heard about, who got given someone else's tickets at the last minute? Each to their own, I suppose!
