...but did you see her today on Live Feed whilst she was cooking dinner? She consumed almost an entire family sized fruit and nut chocolate bar. It's hardly suprising she's piling on the pounds.

I think you'll find that's a common problem.
It's people like Corin moaning about her weight, that really worries me.

She eats too much and doesn't exercise enough. What does she expect. I'm not slagging her body but she shouldn't moan if she is not prepared to do something about it. I think if she was happy and didn't mention it, nobody else would.

Exactly Fairfax, I'm not slagging her off either, just pointing out that she whines about her weight one moment and then stuffs her face with a family sized bar of chocolate the next.
...but it was Cadbury's Fruit n Nut!
and it was there!
I'd have eaten it too!

I am waiting for Josie to say "I only have to look at food and I have piled on the weight".
She was saying a day or so ago that she used to be size 10 and was 'a right miserable cow' but is now size 16 and has never been happier! Wish she'd make up her mind
how much do we reckon josie weighs ?
anyone wanna hazzard a guess ? ..... I reckon it's difficult to say as they say, people often look bigger when they are on TV .... but I'd say around 14 stone .... do you think she would be somewhere in that reigon ?

But being fat is so depressing you need something nice to eat to cheer yourself up. It's just like the anti smoking adverts on telly, they stress me out so much I need a tab to recover Reference:

She also said that she'd like to be a size 12 and needs to join a gymn, when she gets out, but she had to practically starve herself to be a size 10, so wasn't happy.
She ate 2 litres of Ice-cream one night as well.
Well she does lounge about a lot.
She spends a lot of time horizontal.

I shout in airports, when they keep announcing that you can't smoke in there, as you're waiting for your bags and you've already been deprived throughout the whole flight!!

Actually, it's nice to see someone for a change who can enjoy themselves even though they are bigger than the average.
Apparently, the average size in the UK is supposed to be a 16 anyway, or so it said on the M&S add a couple of yrs ago.

I go an hide behind the vending machine and have a sneaky drag!
She's also very attractive imo .... size isn't everything .... but people are SO obsessed by size these days .... if your're over a size 10 people think you are big

The amount of complaining she makes about her weight, you'd be forgiven for thinking she's not enjoying herself.

She hardly complains that much, and most of the time, she makes a joke about it.I think you just dislike her so much, everything she says, or does, gets on your nerves!

Spider... you know I like you as an FM... and I know we don't agree on housemates this year, but picking on Josie cos of her weight is a bit mean... and it goes against the ongoing fight to convince young girls that size 0 (uk size 4) is not the definition of slim.Any woman thats had to work at keeping her weight down can relate to whats going on in Josies head.
She is slightly overweight, I do agree... but I cringe when I read it as something worthy of slating her off for.

I agree .... but this moaning seems to be a recent thing ... When she first went in, I don't seem to remember her moaning about her weight all the time.I think it's because all the other women in the house are on the smaller side .... Josie must be feeling it because of that, I reckon

Personally I hope the ongoing fight also includes educating young girls and boys the benefits of a healthy diet combined with exercise.

yeah... totally agree!and a celebration of the fact that some of us are tall & lean, some of us curvy & busty, some petite etc etc...

Interesting point. She's always been open about being a bit on the *ahem* larger side, but she seemed very comfortable about it before. She certainly seemed to be quite pleased to "have a bit of meat on the bone" during "crispgate". BTW: I think Dave going on about losing weight (very unusual in the house) has touched a nerve with some of them, too...
OMG I am not picking on her. As someone else said, if she didn't keep talking about her weight, no one else would.
As a woman I think Josie's problem with her weight has only started since Keely came in. Keely is ultra tiny and I think its making Josie feel bad about herself - very understandable.
I also think she is wildly jealous of JJ and Caoimhes "Friendship" and her overall mood is beginning to plummet, hence the focusing on her weight.

I think she's just had a bit of PMT and felt a bit bloated.
She's hardly made a huge deal of it, apart from her getting snappy with 'Guess the Weight' Dave.

Even women who don't have weight worries will have a good moan about some aspect of their appearance if they are having a crappy self esteem moment.

Also I can't imagine Dave's comment the other day helped her very much, if it were me I know that would play in my mind a lot. Also, I the outfits they wear for the tasks can't make her feel that much better either, I feel quite sorry for her stressing about her weight loads.Reference:

Mary I agree, I think the outfit they put her in for the superheros task was not exactly flattering, they could have done so much better. She looked a fright, especially with that minging black wig. Now perhaps I'm warped but they seemed to be taking the p.**s, especially with it being food related as well. I felt sorry for her. As for lard ass Dave, he is certainly in no position to talk to anyone about their size,he could do with loosing a few lbs himself.
I think she has a nice figure - I certainly wouldn't say she was fat.

yeah ... but I'm going to stick my neck out and say: she's got a rather big bum for her small frame *runs for cover*
can you tell I don't like her ? :WhistlingSmilie:

wow! you're the second person thats said that today!I am going have to focus more on Keely's bum
in terms of task outfits.... whilst Josie's was a bit crap, I think they did try to consider her figure... they didn't give her a lycra all in one catsuit.
that would be my costume nightmare... I would hate it!
they weren't as kind to Kat with the electrocution task...

Keeley has a fantastic arse and I won't hear any other!
