Whatever Josie does she's always accused of having an agenda.

Darlo I know you like her a lot, but trust me Josie is not what she seems...

darlo is right.

She is popular in there for a reason. She is lovely to everyone and is salt of the earth!

I don't mind Josie too much, but she does bore me these days. Same old same old.
The thing is though, I know her types, and I feel almost certain that on the outside she has it in her to be quite nasty. 

Everybody has an agenda, darlo, but Josies does nothing but promote her own agenda which is "Josie". If she is not fishing or complements she is feeding lines to people. And quick as  flash she can be very spiteful.

She goes on and on about her not being good looking and how her personality is so great.
She is peddling this huge personality which is largely manipulated. She knows she is very pretty and she probably get lots of attention... or goes and gets lots of attention in the outside world. No way is she a querky. She plays at it.

I think she has already shown her nasty side in the house to JJ.

She's not got a broken nose for nuffink.

She compliments people a lot.

You can either see it as genuine, or this amazingly manipulative game plan.

I've seen no evidence that it isn't genuine.

How?

Yesterday, she was apologising to him for monopolising John James. I haven't seen any nastiness.

...Hence she made the spiteful comment about Rachel's cooking when Mario was being generous. She could not stand the thought of someone being centre of attention.

You see it as spiteful, because you dislike her. She gets on really well with Rachel and Rachel would disagree with you, IMO.

Mario and Rachel were arguing about the cooking, earlier, and Josie was calming it down.

I did like her but have gone of her a lot....Seeing her be so disingenuous with Andrew,the smirk on her face saying it all,poor Andrew....She did get very territorial when the new HM's ,Racheal and Keeley especially,went in the house....The final straw was her picking snots from JJ's nose,gawd that is stomach churning sick imo.

Tbh I couldn't give a toss if thats true. Josie isn't perfect she has her faults and flaws. If Josie is playing the game then bloody good on her IMO because ALL the housemates including Corin have a gameplan and they are all competing for that cheque.

True and I hope to see you be so accommodating of the others and their flaws.

Andrew has already said that Josie has given him a boost with his confidence now he's been given a talking to by John James... me thinks Andrew isn't as geeky as he portrays, I like him but surely he must have seen the show before going in and it's obvious that she fancied John James.


Some people may think that Josie used Andrew but maybe he will beg to differ with his version of things...

I think Andrew has had a huge confidence boost from Josie, but is well aware that her attentions lie elsewhere - hence his hilarious comments about scientific studies on Australians etc.

They all got a bit territorial when the first newbies came in. Josie laughed about how mad it was that it suddenly brought them all together. She didn't start bitching about them and calling them names, like good old Ben!.

It's like people on here don't want me to support Josie or turn against her.

I am not even sure it is a game plan. She is one of those nasty people who have to have to be centre of attention.

Evidence? There can rarely be evidence unless you are as obvious as Victor or Nasty Nick.

She has paid that God awful 'Cougar'  lots of compliments, but that is because Coog is as manipulative and showered Josie with unsolicited complicates as soon as she got in.
The compliments she paid Andrew completely manipulative. Poor sod, he believed her. Can't think of anyone else she complements.

That goes without question Darlo, and you're right not give a toss about any criticism of your favourite HM...I feel the same about Ben who I adore.

Maybe he's fallen for her line,maybe he's in awe this older woman is so complimentary of him be it insincere.

JJ1's a living (more's the pity) example of such altruism received.

Josie has her own brand of dripping poison in peoples ear. And she does it to great effect.

In the early days she did say she had a reputation in Bristol for being just that.
She was worried that the stories would come out in the press.

Yes I seem to remember she did it to great effect when Keever got close to JJ...

  I'm the same with Dave.

I hear her compliment people all the time. She tells all the girls how good they look. She defends every single one of them, when any bitching starts, apart from Dave who she does have problems with.

Just yesterday, she was telling Corin how good she looked and complimented Ben on his outfit.

No good old Josie camped out in the kitchen cleaning like a she devil,odd given how we've heard the others say on numerous occasions she does little or nothing....Aww well if it got her butt into drive for a few hours all's good....As for bitching she enjoyed JJ and Caoimhe tearing them to shreds,she'd a right laugh.

Ben's been having lots of digs about Josie and John James, why can't he just drop it?. They don't always even talk about him anyway and David has been very two faced going between the both of them.

Yes Scotty please correct but didn't she say she was banned from pubs and suck like? Sure I heard that in the early days too...

That's cos you won't hear anything negative said about her and you think she is perfect

Darlo gonna pick up on that point...I think the reason for so much hostility between Ben and JJ is because has done his fair share of shit stirring.I seem to remember JJ and Ben getting on reasonalby well before.... Another reason vote out the evil Monk.

Not just Ben,the whole house seem to be growing tired of their Nomance and Underduvet antics.

Funny how we haven't seen her be like that about anyone else in there, eh?

Maybe, she is just as she appears and people should try seeing her as that?

I heard her nan or something is on the run for drug offences, doesn't talk to her mom and her dad was murdered because he was stabbed to death. Josie lives with her aunt.

its not that at all darlo ... just people have different opinions and if you are saying something you have seen - people just may have seen it differently

its the same for all HMs - some love, some hate Ben, JJ, Corin etc.

Darlo, yes, everybody must have a game plan when they go into the house. I am not criticising her for that. Corin is bazen about her wish to stay in the house for as long as possible.

Everyone has their own opinion and I cannot stand Josie's self promotion and her manipulating compliments, empathy and reassurance form people constantly.
This is someone who very rarely engages with anyone apart from John James. She chats to people long enough to get attention... to perform and then her eyes glaze over and she is not interested in them any more.

I don't want you to stop supporting her by the way. I am stating my views. Hope you feel free enough to do the same.
