I'm not down on Josie, and I'm really glad she got the place in the final rather than JJ1 or Steve (see both of their fecking faces?) but she's still not a winner for me, sorry.

I'm made up Josie got it, she was a dead cert so if they'd have picked Steve it would have taken the place of a good HM....

Dave hears the voice of God and Angels, but Josie can be forgiven for feeling chuffed to hear real cheers and applause, surely?

But the person you're building her up to be is clearly not the same person who's been banned from half the pubs in Brizzle. Someone's not being entirely honest here..

She certainly did play that card, but accepted for what??    being overweight and lazy?

I've heard these stories, but, from what I've seen and heard from her, I guess it's more self deprecation. I can't imagine her being anything but a laugh, on a night out. 

Nooo! I'll never have a downer on her for her weight. I think she's a really pretty girl, who wears her size well. And as for lazy - well, everyone supposedly loved Nikki who never washed a dish the entire time she was there.
I just object to her playing the 'loveable, clueless, self-deprecating yokel' card. She lives in a city, and half  the pubs in it won't serve her any more. Why?

Her weight should never be the issue but she does bring it up in conversation alot so clearly others will talk about it too.

As for the pubs thing, maybe Josie is a bit of a troublemaker around town, surprise surprise.

That's what I don't understand and haven't from day 1. She's a Brizzle, but she makes out to be a complete innocent. It doesn't go down well.

She's from Yate, north of Brizzle. Grew up around horses. Her mother broke horses for a living. She moved to her Aunt's farm at the age of 14.

There are banners supporting her all over pubs in the Bristol area. I'm sure she's not banned from them!

The first time I heard about this 'banned from pubs' story, it was two, and now it's all the pubs in the Bristol area!

I'll be speaking for myself; yes, all the time until a year or so ago, I can still go into any pub in my vicinity that I've been frequenting for 30 years and I've had some ding dong nights.

I've never been banned from one, never mind all the pubs in my area!  And I imagine if you're in Yate, you have to do something pretty extreme to get banned.

I'm pretty certain she said all the pubs because I remember wondering what she was doing for recreation on a Friday and Saturday night.

I only heard her say half. She may have bumped it up to 'all' when you heard her. Common factor is - who ever thinks getting banned from pubs is something to brag about (I'd be mortified) apart from  a total chav?
