TBF Spongey Ben got it on a daily basis from some of them, so another having a go would probably have been encouraged by them.
lee xx......yes but then ben bitched on a daily basis too...all be it sugar soaped with a 'i love them dearly' said first.........so they bitched about him......he bitched about them......i can see no difference in josie/john james/jj sitting around bitching about ben.....to ben/dave/andrew sitting around bitching about mario

i stand by my point...can't remember if it was on this thread..(i've lost track of where i've posted!)......but to me it seems sam is only being applauded for the reason it's josie he's having pops at.....and josie isn't popular on here.......and if it was ben for example he was digging at.....there'd be a whole lot of 'how nasty is sam to poor ben' posts....
SS
I can't remember which thread I saw it in earlier but it was a very true remark.  If Sam had had a go at Ben and said you have really horrible hair Ben would just have said 'yes I know I'm sorry' and if he had said you are only trying to kick-start your career he would have said 'yes that's probably true, sorry' Would have been a bit of non-starter

TBF I feel they dislike each other,equally....It pre-dates them going in the house and is based on whatever happened during lock down....He's said things to her for a few days and she's said things about him to the others,Ben was picked on day after day for weeks on end so if and when it gets to that extreme I have no doubt Josie will be saw sympathetically, well we saw how most of them pounced on him in the house last night in defence of Josie ...My advice would be stop asking Sam questions, especially if the replies aren't well accepted.

She has been very open about why she disliked him - because he was rude to everyone, in a nasty and personal way.

Sounds fair enough to me.

TBF, Squiggle went on to explain, the reasons.
And you've overlooked her last reply, stating you were entitled to your view, as so was she. That should really have been the conclusion, but you were clearly unhappy to leave it at that, and then carefully selected a few words to suit your own agenda - not clever or nice.

Oh ffs now the troops are coming in to back up their mate and getting personal too
(And no I did not overlook her last reply ^^^!)

Soooops, let them have the last word if it means so much to them. I liked Ben too, but his slavishly devoted backing on here is not my cup of tea. I find it so ironic that those 'well mannered' fans find it so hard that others can back a housemate without being consumed by negative feelings and personal slights on anyone not as 100% committed as them. Bad form recognises bad form, I guess.

It is BB's show, they have put Sam in for a reason and to be honest its a reason I agree with. My opinion is that Josie is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the viewer and Sam is on a mission to burst her bubble. Fair play in my eyes.
So, you think BB think she is being false?

I got the impression everyone thought BB was trying to encourage a romance.

I don't slavishly back Ben   I have pointed out his negatives as well as his positives in numerous threads.

Not taking it personally at all, just pointing out to you that I don't.  If you choose to take that personally, well there's very little I can do about that either.

I'm hoping this will help her see the light, as far as John James is concerned.
Here's hoping, then maybe her and Andrew can become 'more friendly'......Tbf, I don't think John James knows what the hell to do, he desperately wants to win and I do think he genuinely likes Josie, but doesn't fancy her, (and deep down she knows that too, repeatedly making references to how people like him don't fancy people like her, how she wants to kiss him more than he does her etc. etc.) She did suggest a while back that she slept in a different bed but he didn't want that. I'm increasingly thinking that he's got himself in a right pickle, he can't be seen to be so shallow as to not fancy someone just because they're overweight, (which is probably the truth of the matter,) so he ends up giving mixed messages... They both need to get out from underneath that bliddy duvet and start enjoying their experience/other relationships in there

Couldn't agree more!

The problem is, he has basically told her that it could be different on the outside, so it's not surprising that she's still holding on to some hope.

And that is what he told Sam too, (when pushed.) He's messing with her head, albeit probably unintentionally.....I wish she would just take his comment on face value and say okay, let's cool it in here, sleep separately etc. and we'll see what happens on the outside

Indeed, she should.

Although she runs the risk of upsetting him and him running off again.

A risk worth taking imo, but now she's going to be even more because the self appointed behavioural psychologist from the outside, who speaks the truth and allegedly represents what everyone on the outside of the house thinks has told her that John James feelings towards her are genuine....her poor brain must be mashed!
