I was never into Barbie - it was Sindy all the way for me - I had her boyfriend Paul and little sister Patch too.

I never had a Barbie.....or a Sindy Sooz. I was deprived  I did have a Tiny Tears though 

Well it's all relative .........................I would have killed for a Chatty Kathy Doll - never got one and never knew anyone who had one either .............i think Chatty Kathy was what dreams were made of.

Hahaha sooz ... when the holidays are coming ad came on I texted my daughter who was upstairs in her room with loads of friends. They all came charging downstairs to see it

I'm soooo predictable!! 

Last Christmas, I got my son to add Holidays Are Coming as my ringtone on my mobile, and it's still on.

I did get some funny looks when my mobile rang during the summer.

Are you my sister? She is too.

Okay. So I've just witnessed the Littlewoods Xmas ad and am now seeing the John Lewis one in a new light.

Agreed  That Littlewoods ad makes me feel a bit . it's all that's wrong with the world 

apparently Moz approved, the Smiths always were a middle class band and what could be more middle class than John Lewis, and, um, the Smiths...?

Call me Dave, Dave Camoron's a fan, and he describes himself as a Smiths fan - and middle class.

I got a bit teary earlier, when the John Lewis ad came on.

Then my son piped up with, "Yeah, but you'd have told us to go back to bed, if we'd done that!"

Nope - still think it is the most boring advert in the history of boring adverts.
