OMG all that sweat in these humid weeks, and he sometimes wears 2 or 3 hats at the same time ewwwwwwwwww 

Sleeps in a tea cosy sometimes. When others are sunbathing, or saying it is hot inddors, there he is with a woolly hat, and often a hood on top.
He goes under water in the pool still wearing a cap.
Is it intended to be quirky or is it style? It's vanity and he suffers for it. Silly man.

I've seen him drying his hair, quite a few times.

Imagine the smell of his unwashed hair confined under that dirty old hat he wears.

Yes l've seen him drying his hair too.  If he hadn't washed it, it would look alot worse.

He said it to Josie and Steve on LF this afternoon, he said it's something he doesn't care about, your not mean't to wash your hair to often

Maybe he gets it wet but doesn't shampoo it? Probs doesn't want to dry out his lovely highlights

I knew a girl who didn't wash her hair for about six months (it was sort of an experiment) after it went all greasy in the first few days it sort of levelled out and apparently was kind of self cleaning. Her mum (who is a friend of mine) told me that her hair was really, really soft and in great condition. I can't see it myself but it's not the first time I've heard of it.

Surprisingly, it is quite common I read.  After the first initial scratching and it looking awful, it kinda gets better if you know what I mean.  I couldn't not wash my hair though, I would feel dirty.

I think it's possible to get away with not washing your hair, but not in an urban environment. Too many airborne pollutants to stick to it, dull the shine and make it stink.
