I always feel sorry for him, all of the time and he's definitely in my gaggle of favourites.

I've stuck my neck out for him on here too. Something about him that I quite like ...........not my fave but ...............I like him. I think we're in the minority though.

JJ will begin to win the masses over soon enough. Pirates always do eventually.

His friendship with Ben makes me want to like him, but his temper is so very volatile.  I guess I like him when he's being nice JJ.

He was so sweet in his nomination reasons for Shabby earlier, saying how he was friends with 'Benny' and recognising that he'd done wrong but just forgiving him and that. Good man.

I kinda don't mind him either. .   I get where he is coming from a lot of the time . .

having LF is great to actually get to know the people properly not just see the HL bits when they are not really revealing all their character.. tis the little quiet chats they have that fill in the gaps but never make the show. .

JJ is on my like list, too.
Under all that anger and shouting, I think he is quite sensitive.
He can be pretty astute at times, and I find myself agreeing with a lot of his observations about others. He just needs to tone down his delivery.

I like him, i also like how he moved the convo from him ,Shabby and others discussing noms and turned it onto Ben. Class work JJ.

I like JJ more and more each day.  He`s like a cross little boy that`s harmless.  I love the way he talks and love the way he`s always cross about everything - imo its funny.

Oh, sorry I get - flirting is showing his sensitive side - gotcha.

I like JJ, and thought of starting fan club, but haven't as thought I was on my own

I love him...

We're caught in the giant maelstrom now. A magnificent ocean whirlpool. A black hole with little chance of escape. The Jolly Roger is circling the outer edges of the maelstrom. I'm holding her there for the time being. If JJ grows some balls, I'll steer her out. If JJ doesn't buck up soon, I'm taking her into the eye of the maelstrom.

If you want to abandon ship, now is the time. 

Maybe this is a little too close to home for me but I am just not getting how anyone can write this horrible little man's bullying ways off as being harmless.
Take it from one who knows... being on the end of a constant barrage of criticism is not harmless.
Sorry - I know you are all fans but I am 100% incredulous how anyone can like him at all.
