The article says 'best remembered as the father in Home Alone', but I refute that.

Why do you refute that Fluffy?

Little info coming out about his death. He recently underwent an operation and was recuperating in a local hotel.

Ditto ....I never saw Home Alone .....but have seen him in lots of things ...I particularly enjoyed him in the TV programme about a New Orleans lawyer. RIP angel

I loved him in Home Alone and Home Alone 2.

By all accounts, he was a lovely man. RIP John angel
