Joel Williams temporarily left the Big Brother house
for medical reasons yesterday.
The Welsh housemate has been unwell this past week and has been confined to the bedroom for much of his stay, perhaps explaining his lack of air time in the nightly highlights shows.
His mum Susanne has confirmed that Joel left the house for a âmedical procedureâ during the week, however he has since returned.
She added: âHeâs been told heâs not to use the pool, bath, etc for medical reasonsâĶâ
This morning saw Joel sit out the latest
task which involved the housemates taking on an 80s workout, led by Marc.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 told us that they would not be commenting on what was wrong with Joel.
Tonight sees the wannabe Prime Minister face the latest eviction of the series with eight housemates up for the chop
Alongside Joel, tonightâs live show also sees Cristian, Sam, Harry, Simon, Jack, Danny and Nick in the public vote and the one of the most votes to leave will get the axe.
In this eveningâs highlights Simon is left unhappy after itâs claimed that his relationship with Helen Wod may put him in danger.
Meanwhile, Jack says to Big Brother in the Diary Room: âI am very nervous for tomorrow night. Iâm kind of looking forward to the rush of it. Iâm having to mentally prepare myself that Iâm going to have to walk out the door but I really want to stay. I passionately want to win. Iâm going to try and be me.â
Big Brother airs at 9PM tonight on Channel 5, live with Emma Willis.
