I suppose an old subject about whether women (or men for that matter) should bulk themselves up.  TBH, fair play to her, you can't knock her dedication to bulk herself up, do her own thing and burn her bridges to the glamour modelling world, but she was never really # 1 glamour girl anyway - and is knocking on a bit now to be getting her t**s out for Nuts magazine.

I'm fairly neutral about Jodie Marsh.  I neither liked nor disliked her on CBB.  The anti bullying stuff was a bit phoney but otherwise, she's ok.

I don't usually post from this scummy newspaper's site but what the hell!

I admire the dedication, but really don't like that over muscled, less than 10% bodyfat look on women!

I bet she wasn't lifting the weights on that bench she was sitting on. That looks to be 100kg (220lbs)

It's not hard to bench press that if you build yourself up gradually. It doesn't mean a manly body. I give her credit for dedicating her life to something other than plastic surgery.

The Daily "Heil" in internet form is much more balanced and critical of this government.  It also allows left wing opinion.  The Mail is an old fashioned right wing media group whereas Murdoch has had PMs in his pocket.

Likewise, the Guardian online does not quite fit the Islington-one-armed-lesbian-communist-social worker stereotype that the right has pinned on it.

I do admire her devotion, she's really bulked herself up and the drive and stamina must be incredible for someone who's basically worked out a bit to keep in shape for the glamour shots.

She must know that her look is not going to get many teenage lads salivating.  In her day, she was really attractive (in an obvious way and despite the nose) and she's doing her own thing now and doing it very well.  I don't find her look attractive but I do admire her will power.

Her body is now 'manly'

Absolutely

and IMO it's disgusting....BUT...I admire her dedication. Whether she did it for herself or for money....she did it and that's more than a lot of people could say.

Nooooo. She's gone past toned and defined IMO. She's freaky looking. I don't think the tattoo's and fake tan help either. I watched an interview of her talking about how the tan HAS to be done to define the muscles. I love working out but I don't "get" professional bodybuilding.

It is if you are Jodie's size. That's the sort of weight I was pushing as a man at 5'10 tall and 147lbs bodyweight. Most of the guys pushing that much are around 160lbs at least and were surprised that I could lift that much. In fact the only guys I've met of my own bodyweight who can press as much or more, have been much shorter and stockier.

Everyone's different though. She's got the motivation of money and fame making her push that. I agree it's hard going if you're doing it all the time but for a one off it's not that difficult
