I seem to recall hearing that the Police have body language experts watching the families and friends at the press conferences to  see if they are genuine. I think that's why they encourage boyfriends and such to make appeals.

I feel for the parents of this girl, how dreadful for them. There can be nothing worse as a parent than to lose your child but especially to a crime like this

Wasn't the boyfriend away at his parents house? I thought that was why he was ruled out as a suspect. I think someone knocked on her door and coaxed her out of the house somehow which is why all her personal items were still in the house. The pizza? She could have given it to someone on the way home, maybe someone homeless who won't see TV or the papers to make a connection.

It's bizarre that the police seem to have no leads of any kind. Also I wonder what they mean by 'several days' when they say that's how long her body was in the snow. She disappeared on the 17th and was found 8 days later. Was she held captive somewhere and then dumped? If forensics find nothing in or around the house she left of her own accord yet nobody saw her? None of it adds up.

If she was strangled there must be DNA on the neck of some sort there is no way you can completely cover up that kind of contact. Got to hope the police know a lot more than they are letting on I'd hate to think the bastard who did it will get away with it.

What i have read is , She got a phone call to get a pizza and a bottle of cider, the cider hasnt been mentioned, except on Sky ?? The boyfriend came home to find her keys etc and phoned the Police?? I myself have been out for the day, never got my phone and people worry, but they havent phoned the Police. Anyway i worry, and take care everyone, but i feel this is more a domestic issue .................

I thought it was strange today watching the news conference, when the police was asked if she was fully clothed they said yes, when asked again if she had a coat on the police said she was FULLY clothed but they didn;t want to go into details, which too me mean't she did have a coat on, not the one found in the flat, which suggests she went out on her own choice, i still think the boyfriend has something to do with it *nods*

I think the BF is always the first to suspect in cases like this. Sometimes it is proven ........sometimes it has nothing to do with them. I don't like to jump to conclusions - as I say - it isn't always the case.

What a truly horrible situation ............I guess people always think 'there's no smoke without fire etc. etc,) Whtever or whoever happened it's very tragic for the parents and possibly tragic for the BF - somehow though I don't think he'll be getting much sympathy. I just hope they find the murderer sooner rather than later.

oh yes i hope they find who done this to this girl,  but the pizza box seems to be playing a large part in the investigation , its a mystery where it went  and the police think this as well  , this case is really upsetting me i dunno if its the time of year or she was such a vibrant young girl  , but something is not right , i can just sense it

That's how I feel, I do feel it's someone she must know, it's really strange

Of course somethings not right ...........she was found murdered. The missing pizza is indeed a mystery - surely if it had been eaten in the house they'd have found traces. Did she take it somewhere? Why would she leave the house without a coat? All very strange but ...............someone could easily have followed her into the house - it could well be someone she knew.

I'm not saying it wasn't the boyfriend - it may well have been him (did they actually live together incidentally) or was it more casual. All I'm saying is - if it wasn't him ............what a horrible position to be in.

I would gladly bring back capital punishment for crimes that are pre-meditated, done out of sheer malice with no other agenda or reasoning than to callously kill and 100% proven through DNA, CCTV...etc

For example, Hindley and Brady, Rose and Fred West, the murderer of Sarah Payne, Osama Bin Laden....I would pay to have a ringside seat to their very slow and painful execution cos to me they had no respect for an innocent's life so why should they get mine?

Capital Punishment is a debate that always pops up in threads like this an my viewpoint has always been the same. Some people don't deserve to have the luxury of rehabilitation.
