I believe anyone convicted of sex offences towards children should never be released.

It must be a mandatory life sentence.

I think they shouldn't get special treatment in prison and  be put in the rest of the inmates...... we all know what they do these people and it's nothing more than they deserve!

Me too, so many people seemed scared of him.

I was going to say the other night when someone posted the link to his former PA's interview that it just rang to me of a control freak who always 'needed' to know what was coming at in in any given interview, and that the fact she couldn't see him doing stuff like that was bull as a defense.... as the full blown wives of convicted peado's can honestly say they had not idea.

Looking at tonights show i now feel differently towards that PA... i honestly think that whole interview was damage limitation.... i think she at the very least had a suspicion and the worst (afetr hearing it was a widespread rumor) helped him cover it up (

It was me posted that link Jenstar. I guess I shouldn't take things at face value though she sounded convincing when I read it. I'm looking at it in different light now. I didn't see last night's programme but reviews of it suggest it was very damning evidence.

It would seem from articles I've read about the culture at the time, and even from his own quotes, that Jimmy Saville, like other paedophiles, didn't think there was anything wrong with his behaviour, and wouldn't have thought himself one.

Personally I think all those that saw but turned a blind eye are as guilty...disgusting!

I do wonder why it has been left till a year after his death that these stories are now being believed ? (when obviously he can't deny nor admit)

Did he leave a fortune by chance ?

Kiddyfiddlers of any shape creed or size should be surgically castrated and have their bits stapled to their foreheads...just so's we, the general public, would know what scum we were amongst!

Desmond Wilcox, then. I didn't watch it but my mother reported back to me (whether I liked or not) that Esther did seem horrified, but she managed to make it 'all about her' briefly.
