I feel sick at what I have just read about Jersey home. Savile stated he was never there and when the Sun proved he was, he was successful in getting the picture removed.
Looks like the can of worms is about to be opened and many in high places exposed.

I'm not keen to believe them, however these stories has been going on for several decades. The Saville news is relatively new, but those of us who read Private Eye are particularly keen to make sense of and maybe join up the articles.
Hopefully they will publish another of their famous specials.

That's the point though. Even though the BBC are coming in for some stick, one assumes that if they delved too much into Saville then all sorts of material might come to light.
Hi Garage Joe, obviously I agee with your point about the weak and defenceless and I too would like to think these are false allegations.
What I find a bit sickening is that Paul Gamberccini is now saying he 'knew' about Saville for 30 years and claims that Saville threatened the press with charity money drying up. Sounds like Gambacinni was more concerned with his own career.
Likewise Rantzen, who at one time hosted the BBC's highest rated program and in recent years hasn't worked for the BBC, so had little to fear for her 'BBC career'.
If I were an arch right wing scumbag like Rupert Murdoch, would I care if charity money dried up, as long as I got my scoop?
