Hubby has a friend who has connections with certain people in showbiz. This person was interviewed on the Newsnight programme, next day he emailed hubby and said there's a lot more to come out, he also mentioned that a few weeks ago The Sun hinted at some "dark" practices that go on in certain circles. We don't buy newspapers so don't know what The Sun hinted at. Hubby hasn't asked his friend to expand on what he knows as he doesn't feel it's right to ask him to say anything unless/until he feels comfortable in doing so.

 

As for Freddie S we've been backstage several times at his shows in the past, all I can say is I often noticed he likes women....as in his comments to the wives and gf's of his musicians....personally I thought he was crude and can't say I liked him, we were there because we knew one of his musicians. No idea whether he's been involved in anything like JS has, there were never any rumours from those who worked with him, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors.

I can't think who he might be refering too everytime I thin of someone I think no they can't be....

I remember he liked to invite the musicians or backstage people back to his house after the shows. Hubby was invited a couple of times but after 2 visits he said never again. All Freddie wanted to do was talk about himself and tell joke after joke which got tiring, especially as he expected people to stay there till around 4/5 am. Don't know if he's mellowed now but at times he could be extremely rude, angry, disrespectful and certainly arrogant, but, that of course has nothing to do with what some are alleging about him.

I'm all for celebrity gossip but I'm not buying the conspiracy theories. Are the government involved? It's become a farce. A media farce. Even minor 80s celebrities are jumping in. It detracts from the actual victims in all this.

 

Satanic rituals? Can't it be as simple as wicked people doing horrible things?

He must have been quieter when I was young London must have changed him..but then again I think we're going to be very shocked soon with whats going to come out unless there's going to be a mass cover up especially if royals and government are in the thick of it....

Yes I also think the public will be shocked. If there's only one good thing about the JS story for me it's that he's become the catalyst to open up an ugly situation that certain people have been indulging in secretly from the public that have damaged others. JS can't be prosecuted, those who have the same mindset as him hopefully will

Former Tory MP Rod Richards has made the shocking claim that Sir Peter Morrison (right with Baroness Thatcher) was linked to the child abuse scandal that engulfed North Wales children's homes in the 1970s and '80s. The former aide died in 1995 at the age of 51. Mr Richards also linked a second leading Conservative grandee - now dead - to the scandals at homes

When are these high profile arrests going to happen?   im very interested to see who these other celebrities that "might" be involved are going to be.

Now I have to be careful, because I know there are certain camera "conventions" at work here, but what I noticed is that the camera doesn't start to zoom in on JS until after the girl starts struggling. It then goes in very tight on JS's face: it's very difficult not to imagine someone in the control room desperately barking instructions at that point - but even with that, it's still obvious that JS keeps his hand in place throughout...

TBF with that clip the girl hardly looked terrified, more like she was having an electric shock.

 

I doubt he'd be that bold to do that on live TV, with a studio audience around him.

 

 

Gary Glitter was arrested this morning 

I'm not sure that there will be any high profile arrests. So far it seems to be dead people and those already convicted of the like.

That certainly didn't come as a shock.

Savile is dead and Glitter we know about.It looks like Glitter will take the hit for the others to remain anonymous.

We only really see her initial reaction, though, and that sort of reaction's hardly unusual for a shock. Of course JS would play on that afterwards, and from what we've been hearing this "it's only a joke" defence seems to have been pretty common.

What's telling is that after the initial shock, the girl immediately tries to get away. The camera zooms in pretty sharpish to cut her out of the shot, but it's clear that she's still struggling to get away (and failing) throughout. It couldn't have been a pleasant experience...

I hope not.  I hope that everyone involved is brought to justice,

We'll see. The implication seems to be that more arrests will follow.

 

Also: don't forget that Glitter has never actually been convicted of sexual abuse in this country - yet...

The police are in Glitters flat and removing "Items" a tad pointless because the guy has been on notice for a few weeks to get rid of anything that may implicate him .

I thought they'd be more arrests then that, it's no shock that he might be involved.

Jimmy Savile's great-niece has told Sky News she believes some members of his family knew of what they called his 'dark side' - but that they turned a blind eye to it.

 

Caroline Robinson, 49, has said she was sexually abused by Savile at a family gathering when she was 12-years-old and again at an engagement party when she was 15.

 

"They both happened during a family gathering. It was not as though I was on my own. There were members of the family there as well," she said.

 

"Jimmy got it down to perfection, where he managed to do it and what he did and nobody noticed.

 

"After it happened when I was 12, I spoke to my grandmother, I told her what Jimmy had done. Her reply was, 'It's only Jimmy, it doesn't matter, I'll sort it out'.

"I think that certain members of the family who were closer to him knew what kind of man he was but they kept it secret for their own means".

 

Savile's nephew, Roger Foster, said on Saturday that the 'picture' of Jimmy Savile painted by his victims was not the man he knew. But he apologised to those alleged victims for Savile's 'darker side'.
