Comedian Jim Davidson says a âSavile No 2âģ household name celeb is about to be revealed as a paedophile!
As the Jimmy Savile scandal deepens, comedian Jim Davidson has claimed that within the near future, a âSavile number twoâ household name celeb will be unmasked as a predatory paedophile.
Writing on his personal blog, the comic said that the person â who he hasnât named â is, âA bloke whoâs a loner, dresses and acts like a nonce and thinks he is the most important person in the world.â
And of the allegations against Sir Jimmy Savile, Jim said, âHmmm. I knewâĶ and didnât do anything.â
He added, âMind you, I had no proof. To me he was just another pervert. There are lots of them in showbiz.
âThere seems to be more gay ones than straight but thatâs because there are probably more gays in showbiz than most professions.
âWhoâs next to be the victim of a media feeding frenzy? I have the answer to thatâĶ
âBut, like Jimmy Savile, itâs only rumours. But when these rumours come outâĶ WOW!â
He also slammed the BBC over Monday nightâs Panorama, which looked at the corporationâs failure to expose Savile and his alleged child abuse on the broadcasterâs premises.
He wrote, âHow come the BBC can make a programme blaming the BBC? Itâs like having yourself arrested and then being your own prosecuting barrister!
âThe BBC has finally gone mental.
âThis hot bed of leftyness has asked itself the question: âShould we have known?â The answer is âyesâ. We all knew, didnât we?ââ
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports that arrests in the Savile case are âimminentâ and itâs understood that several celebrities will be questioned with regard to allegations of child sex abuse.
Police Commander Peter Spindler, whoâs heading up the inquiries, told the paper, âI have no doubt that we are in watershed moment for child abuse investigation and this will be a landmark investigation.
âI want to praise the courage of the 300 or so who have come forward.â
The paper adds, âThe celebrities named by victims â some huge household names â are set to be quizzed over serious sex assault allegations within days. Other suspects who have been named are believed to include former BBC staff.â
Revealing the âarrest strategyâ thatâs been drawn up by his 30-strong team of Metropolitan police officers, Commander Spindler added, âThere is Savile but there are also others and if those others are living we can now look at them.
âWe are dealing with a major crime investigation here.
âThereâs Savile on his own, and thatâs the vast majority of what weâre being told about, thereâs Savile and others.
âAnd itâs the others, if theyâre living, we can look at them. Then there is a third category which is âothersâ.â
A source added, âIt is now to be determined how seriously these claims should be taken.â
It emerged yesterday that Savile had been investigated for an alleged sex attack â which reportedly took place on BBC premises â in the eighties.
A retired police officer has apparently come forward to say that he carried out an inquiry, but there wasnât enough evidence to prosecute.
Of that, Mr Spindler said that his officers were âtrying to findâ the file on the case, but had so far been unsuccessful.
