Not watching the show, but...

Allegations that resulted in former Baywatch star Jeremy Jackson being thrown out of the Celebrity Big Brother house are being investigated by police.

Jackson, 34, was removed from the house after fellow contestant Chloe Goodman, 21, claimed he opened her dressing gown and exposed her breast.

Hertfordshire Police said it was aware of events on the Channel 5 show in the early hours of 10 January.

It is working with the show's producers to probe what happened, the force said.

Trouble started on the show, filmed at studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, when the actor got drunk and vomited in the toilet.

He was being comforted by model Goodman, who told other housemates: "I was helping him and he went to my dressing grown top and put my boob out."

Jackson later apologised, insisting he had not ripped open the robe in an aggressive way but said: "I accept all the ramifications."

Producers decided to remove him from the show, calling his behaviour "wholly unacceptable".

Cameras do not film in the toilet of the Big Brother house, but the aftermath of the row was shown in Saturday night's episode.

It showed a tearful Goodman being comforted in the Big Brother diary room by fellow housemate Nadia Sawalha.

Later, Jackson was called to the diary room to be told he would be leaving the show.

A police spokesman said: "We are currently working with the programme's producers as part of our inquiries."

"It would be inappropriate to comment any further at this time."

Hopefully they'll investigate, find that it wasn't assault (at least I don't think it was,can never be sure though) and if Chloe has made no complaint against him, they'll have done their bit and let it drop.

JB, I'd say it was a sexual assault.... and a complaint from the victim is unlikely to be required given the evidence and his public admission

Sexual offences act 2003: http://www.cps.gov.uk/legal/p_...03_and_soa_1956/#a11

Sexual Assault (section 3)

The elements of the offence of sexual assault are:

  • A person (A) intentionally touches another person (B)
  • the touching is sexual
  • (B) does not consent to the touching, and
  •  (A) does not reasonably believe that (B) consents.
Key points
  • The meaning of sexual, consent (See Rape and Sexual Offences: Chapter 3), reasonable belief and evidential and conclusive presumptions apply to this offence.
  • Touching is widely defined and includes with any part of the body, or with anything else, and can be through clothing. In R v H (Karl Anthony) [2005] 2 Cr. App. R. 9, the Court of Appeal held that the touching of an individual's clothing was sufficient to amount to 'touching' for the purposes of section 3. Where touching was not automatically by its nature sexual, it was possible to ascertain whether the touching had been sexual by determining whether by its nature it might have been sexual and if so whether in the circumstances the purpose had in fact been sexual.

Hertfordshire Police said a man had assisted them with their inquiries.

KEN AND JEREMY WILL BE PAID BUT NOT

ENTIRE FEE, JEREMY SPEAKS OUT ON THIS

MORNING

Shamed Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jeremy Jackson has sent a grovelling apology to Chloe Goodman after he was thrown off the show in a ‘groping’ storm.

Jeremy, 34, who yesterday accepted a formal police caution for common assault after police waded in, was accused of groping Chloe’s dressing gown and revealing her bare breast.

And describing it as a ‘silly, childish, drunken joke’, Jeremy is now hoping to patch things up with the 21-year-old glamour model.

‘It was a silly, childish, drunken joke. But I didn’t touch her skin or paw her. It was a terrible drunken mistake. I’m so ashamed,’ he told The Sun.

And begging for Chloe’s forgiveness, the former Baywatch star went on: ‘I want to apologise to Chloe. I’m so sorry. Please forgive me.’
