I would personally vote for him again....Hilarity Benn can kiss my ass, this card carrying member will stay in and vote again for JC or someone with his honesty if I can find one  The actual vote for remain amongst labour voters was 63% as far as I'm aware, although this was planned a long while ago and if it hadn't been this it would have been something else. 

He could have filled the cabinet with yes men, but being fair minded he wanted a cabinet from both sides of the party and they have repaid that with this...and ignored the labour party membership, idiots 

edited to say * I left because of Blair and rejoined to vote for JC and then went back to full membership, I will leave if a Blairite replaces him*

his name must go on the ballot paper, he doesn't have to be nominated and I for one would be confident in thinking he would have a larger mandate. I know loads in the groups I'm in have become full member today just to vote for him if push comes to shove CS

It all seems a bit cloak and dagger to me – wasn’t Seema Malhotra fronting up a press conference with him just yesterday?

I’m not currently a party member but I am still in regular contact with my local team.

The BBC's original story was published just before I posted at 10.41 and was revised by 10.55 but there's no sign of any apology on the link to the BBC story.

I have always said Corbyn is not the man to lead Labour to the next election. Labour won't win with him at the helm.

As to who they can elect to win, I have no idea tbh. That to me is quite sad.

He is the right man I think.   Just because his politics are different, people can't handle that

He was the only old Labour to put himself forward! It is an issue though as we all get older, forget our values and become a party of suits.

Such is the surreal nature of politics at the moment I maintain we should throw a load of cash at Nicola Sturgeon. I'm sure that she could easily adapt.
