In terms of publicity/viewing figures they will be a big draw depending on who else is included?  They seem nice polite lads to me and have never slagged anyone off who has been really negative towards them when they could have but that is not in their nature.

I think despite annoying some people they would be fun and divide opinion which is the best thing.

Agree with this and just hope all the other HMs are as interesting. Just hope C5 dont go bust with the CBB payday.

I think this is essentially true. However they do have clear behavioural problems, and I'd be concerned about how they'd cope in the house for any reasonable length of time.

I happened to watch BBBM after they performed their "concert" in the garden last year. They were obviously a bit "hyper" after performing, but initally they seemed to come across alright. However the moment the host started talking to someone-else, you could see them getting frustrated because they were no longer the centre of attention. This culminated in one of them throwing (I think) a notepad across the studio just so everyone would stop and look at him. IIRC he nearly hit someone in the audience.

It was just like watching a baby literally throwing their toys out of the pram, and I'm really not sure I'd want to watch that for weeks on end...

They're just so eccentric and have lots of energy. Sometimes they do put on an act or use diversion tactics to avoid certain questions in interviews. I believe that whilst the twins look stupid in fact they're not and are quite shrewd in terms of the marketing of their band plus having a good PR/management team to work with.

They don't get bored either and design videos etc basically entertaining themselves until work is lined up not sitting around waiting for work to come to them!

I might put a small bet on them.

I will wait to see who the others are first- but they would be faves so far Erinp.

Big Brother can make careers but it can very easily ruin them ,I do wonder if their management would want them in the BB house.Jedward have a clean cut image ,the BB house could easily compromise them, just a thought.

The incident I was referring to wasn't "diversion tactics" because the host wasn't talking to them at the time. It was simple attention-seeking because, well, the host wasn't talking to them at the time...

I do agree that they're much more savvy than they're often given credit for, but the fact is that whether a knowing ploy or not, they nearly hurt someone in the audience on that occasion, but clearly didn't care. (The camera's panned away quickly, but you could see and hear the other guest having a go at the twin, who just went into a huff...)

As for the "not getting bored" bit: I think they'd find the BB house seriously hard work as HMs have to get used to sitting around bored for ages. Jedward's attempts at coping with that (and the likely annoyance it will cause to other HMs) might be initially amusing, but I fear they'll burn out very quickly, and the results could be rather unpleasant...
