Does anyone know who that girl was who was singing Empire State of Mind with Jay-Z last night on Jools show. I know that Alicia Keys has recorded it with JayZ, but I don't think that was her last night. Whoever she is, she has a brilliant voice and the most gorgeous figure. Help!

Someone said it was Alicia Keys but I don't think it was. I know Alicia Keys sings on the CD version on his new CD. There is no mention of Alicia Keys on the show last night. This version also sounds different to the other tracks on UTube of the same song. Also, this girl last night does not look like Alicia Keys imo. But my goodness, whoever she is, she can sing. I absolutely loved this performance with JayZ, he was poppin.

We missed you in the Book Club heat. We are discussing parts two and three next week. There is a blog running for the first part.

Heat, I should have clicked on your link before I posted because I've just read that the girl is Bridget Kelly. I knew it wasn't Alicia Keys! I like this girl's voice much better, although AK sings very well on the other videos I have watched of this track.

Jay Z was ace that night Twee, and that girl was well suited to that song. She was really good.
