Got to be Big Brother today. Not exciting for them, but very exciting for me! "This is Big Brother. New batteries are in the hatch!"

I've been here 9 series and that's the first time I've done it. Seems daft, but wanted to do it since I was 16!

Was expecting to say "a new voice! Must be trainee day cos he was crap!". He actually said "thanks Big Brother!"

Davina McCall ‘just can’t’ watch Celebrity Big Brother

Davina McCall ‘just can't' watch Celebrity Big Brother

The 46-year-old has told Digital Spy that, while she has heard good things about the current series – which has been labelled the ‘best ever’ by some critics – she hasn’t been able watch it.

“I’ve heard really good feedback, [but] because I’m working and I’m a mum and I’m training, I just can’t,” she commented.

“It’s such a commitment, because you have to watch it every night. My dedication to Big Brother is still strong, but I just can’t watch it.”

Davina is currently in Innsbruck, Austria fronting Channel 4â€ēs new celebrity winter sports contest The Jump, which the broadcaster move in their schedules so it avoided clashing with CBB.

She is also preparing to undertake a BT-sponsored endurance challenge for Sport Relief that will see her run, swim and cycle over 500 miles on a journey between Edinburgh and London.

Last July Davina praised her replacement Emma Willis in a chat with bbspy, saying: “She’s a pro, she’s warm, she’s funny and more than anything she’s so passionate about it”.

Day 27: Finale Outfits

As the clock counts down to the finale of this season of Celebrity Big Brother, here's a look at the outfits that the celebs have donned for their exit from the House - ranging from Sam's glitzy dress, to Ollie's military-style jacket, to another outing for Jim's favourite suit.

Casey's hair, in progress.

Ollie's haircut is a full scale operation.

Sam's outfit is an optical illusion - she's not just wearing glitter!

Apparently, Casey very rarely wears dresses.

Luisa's got her dress and her game face on.

Ollie's coat is a sight to behold.

Smile, girls!

It's another Jim classic.

The garden has got its highlights in.

Casey is 6th

She lit up the House with her infectious personality, bubbly nature and chirpy banter. Our lads' mag lovely has been a wonderful House guest, getting all the way to the final without ever being nominated for eviction by her fellow housemates.

Casey's stay has been overshadowed by her relationship with Lee. The pair were tethered together on Day 1 and the chemistry was clear from the off.  The couple finally locked lips on Day 3 but the path of true love did not run smoothly.

Unfortunately, the boy from Blue had a wondering eye and before long had turned his attentions to American actress Jasmine. Casey had formed something of a surface friendship with Jasmine as the pair bonded over their 'assets' but all Lee's lust put the kibosh on that.

Casey was reunited with Lee in the Bolt Hole on Day 6 but their relationship remained ambiguous to say the least.

A model housemate, she showed herself to be a good sport throughout, taking a series of pies to the face during the Over 18s task and pulling off on a showstopper of a stand-up routine as part of the In the Limelight task.

She began to find her happy place with Lee as she came toward the end of the third week but all that changed when Big Brother sent Jasmine back into the House via the grandfather clock during the first day of the For Whom the Bell Tolls task. Although they patched things up, Casey's mum's appearance on the second day and her message to her daughter that the object of her affections was "mugging her off" may have provided the wake-up call she needed.

Casey bonded with the majority of the housemates, finding something of a father figure in Jim 'Jimbo' Davidson. He counselled her when Big Brother employed him as agony aunt and gave comfort after Jasmine left Casey in tears over Lee.

She made it to the final but a momentous victory just wasn’t to be. Casey, you will be missed. We wish you a fabulous future.

Sam is 5th

She made it all the way to the final, but the only way is Essex for our lovely housemate Sam, as the Brentwood babe has been evicted.

Sam entered the House on Day 1 tethered to Jasmine, a challenging coupling which our cool-headed gal took in her stride. At one point it even looked like they could become BFFs.

She brought sexy back during the 18 Certificate task when she strutted her stuff in PVC with Lionel and the gang. And she showed she was a team player when she waxed on and waxed off Ollie's hairy feet, which wasn't even a task.

Speaking of Ollie, the chap from Chelsea will surely be disappointed to see our girl go. Asked to declare her amorous feelings for one housemate during her Acting Up task, she chose Ollie, which certainly made his day.

Ollie's crush on Sam was given more fuel during the Silent Boxing task, when his revelation that he had an "inappropriate crush" on her was announced to the entire House – awks! But even if the feelings aren't reciprocal, their performance during the 'In the Limelight' task proved what a great duo they make.

Sam proved her critics wrong during the 'Get off the fence' task, showing that she does have opinions about her other housemates after all. She just chose not to voice them often, instead spending her time acting as head stylist and fake tan aficionado.

We wave goodbye to Sam tonight but we're sure Sugar Hut will be rolling out its red carpet for her return. Good luck Sam, you've made Essex proud!

Luisa is 4th

She entered the House handcuffed to Evander Holyfield, but while the champ suffered an early KO, it was Luisa who delivered the big punches. She had a clear idea of how she would win and she made it to the final, but sadly it wasn’t to be.

In the beginning, Luisa and Evander found common ground, but soon enough his snoring started to get the better of her. Once the cuffs were off, Luisa forgot all about Evander and started to party. However, just days after she and Dappy shared a hot tub, the pair had an explosive row. Not a short one either - this one went on and on.

And on.

Dappy wasn’t the only housemate Luisa fell out with either - let’s not forget Lionel. After a night in The Most Annoying Room In The World, all of the housemates were punished for Luisa’s naughtiness. This really upset Lionel, and he finally exploded. The fact that he was dressed as a Doctor Who lookalike at the time didn’t help.

And let's not forget her constant struggle with House patriarch, Jim. If they weren't arguing over ironing or who knows the best way to cook potatoes, it was over Luisa's inability to keep the noise down at night. This one can really party when she wants to. But it’s fair to say Luisa isn’t one to hold grudges. She made up with Lionel and then she made up with Dappy – just not the same way. She even managed to call a truce with Jim in the final few days.

For someone so competitive and successful, it will perhaps haunt Luisa that her one solo task was a failure. Challenged to make Dappy rap, Jim argue and Liz laugh, she failed miserably. Literally in the case of Liz.

If there's one thing you can say about Luisa, it’s that you certainly won't forget her in a hurry. Thank you, Luisa, you’ve been a great sport, and we hope to see you again soon.

Ollie is 3rd

He may have been Made in Chelsea (actually Southampton, but let's not quibble) but the reality star made himself right at home in Borehamwood.

Cuffed to Lionel from the off, the twinkle-toed octogenarian described Mr Locke as "a lovely boy", an opinion he never wavered from. The two developed a wonderful relationship in the early days, forming a father/son bond which was a real joy to witness.

He was also popular with the ladies, getting up close and personal with Jasmine, much to Mr Lover Lover Lee's disgust. That said, Ollie really only had eyes for one – our Essex girl Sam. He even let her de-fuzz his feet in an ancient hobbit mating ritual.

After she declared her undying love for him during her 'Acting Up' task, he admitted to Big Brother that he had an "inappropriate crush". This statement came back to bite him during the Blindfold Boxing task. The poor boy looked mortified when Big Brother announced this. Things took a turn for the amorous during the Sitting on the Fence task, when the pair were forced to admit they would consider hooking up with each other.

Ollie has been proud of his tiff-free time in the House, but Luisa put paid to that on Day 20. He delivered a heartfelt monologue following face-to-face noms, but our Apprentice showed him who was boss when she mocked his mission statement causing him to fight back. He went on to have another pop at her during The Campaign Task.

Rifts and romance aside, we should also mention his impressive baking skills. Luisa may be the professional bun maker, but Ollie turned out some excellent cobs - Paul Hollywood, eat your pastry heart out.

Ollie made it to the final, but he couldn’t quite pull off a famous victory. So farewell to our onesie warrior, it's been an absolute pleasure, sir.

Dappy is 2nd

Did Dappy make it to the end? Na-na-na-NO!

Sadly not for the N-Dubz man. But he made it all the way to the final and entertained us all no end in the process.

Dappy entered the House tethered to Liz Jones the journalist, which undoubtedly made his launch night more interesting – as did Jim and Linda’s decision to free him and Liz from their shackles. His happiness was short-lived when he learnt this meant he was immediately in line for eviction. Oddly he still found time to bond with the Daily Mail columnist – so that was something.

It's fair to say Dappy enjoyed being in front of the cameras. Even running a bath became an opportunity to posture. He loved that bathroom, with the rubber duckies being a real draw for our pop genius.

Perhaps inevitably, Dappy broke a few rules and that meant his fans had their prayers answered when BB dished out one particular punishment. The public has always wanted to see Dappy in a nappy, so they will have been overjoyed at the sight.

Dappy also had his in-House arguments so it wasn't all plain-sailing. In fact, one particular barnstormer saw him and Luisa discussing the gender divide in quite abrasive terms. That particular blow-up ran and ran. Despite this storming barney, the pair eventually made up and became quite close as the days went on.

Arguably Dappy's main strength was the way he calmed his pals down when things went over the top. He had time for Lee, Casey and Jasmine when their love triangle regularly flared up, for example, and he often showed his caring side with Jim.

Those of us who thought we knew him now know he's a lovely, lovely dude who's cemented his place in CBB history.

Jim is the winner!

Controversial comedian and CBB 2014 patriarch, Jim Davidson, has been evicted from the Big Brother House.

He made it all the way to the final, but it wasn’t quite to be, and Jim has walked out through the front door in a surprise eviction. He may not have won, but Jim didn't half fit a fair amount in. He did win!!

For starters, there was the ongoing battle with Linda Nolan. When the pair were cuffed together (and forced to make a difficult decision) on launch night, it was a peaceful union. Once the cuffs were off the pair made it clear to other housemates that they'd never get on. We have the feeling those two will never work it out.

On a happier note, Jim was well-liked elsewhere in the main (Luisa's input withstanding). He had plenty of man-chats with the House chaps and was never happier than cooking up snacks for the gang. When it came to tasks he loved diving in headfirst, chowing down on alien brains and generally showing enthusiasm that belied his early morning grumpiness. Also, if it wasn't for Jim, that love triangle wouldn't have become quite as exposed as it became.

Despite his sneaky dealings in the Democracy task and many head-to-head gripes with Luisa and Jasmine (on top of that difficult relationship with Lionel), he was a solid presence and could usually be found talking over all manner of matters in the garden with all members of the team.

Towards the end of the stay and despite an immense battle over cherry brandy with Linda (who else?), Jim clicked into the swing of House life. He allowed his pals to give him a face-mask – classic CBB behaviour – which is proof positive that he'd immersed himself in the experience.

Big Brother gave him the chance to defend his place in the House during The Campaign task but his single statement that he was, 'A good bloke, plain and simple,' wasn't enough to see him to win.

A key player has left the building – thanks, Jim, and best of luck
