Evicted Celebrity Big Brother 2014 housemate Lee Ryan reportedly wants a body guard for his own protection.

It follows the Blue singer’s exit from the house at the weekend in a secret eviction.

Lee has since been getting abuse online over his antics in the house, namely his involvement in the love triangle with Casey Batchelor and Jasmine Waltz.

“I’ve had a lot of abuse, I need some personal protection,” Lee said yesterday after his exit. “Its not been nice I’m not going to lie, it’s not been great.”

He continued: “I’ve been getting death threats on Twitter… it’s no joke. My management are scared for my safety. People are saying they’ll stab me if they see me walking down the street.”

The former Eurovision contestant later tweeted: “I’m sorry if I hurt anyone for what I’ve done… I’m so so sorry.”

According to The Sun newspaper, Lee’s advisers are now planning to report the threats to Twitter and arrange him some “protection” until after the final.

“Lee didn’t realise how controversial his antics had been until he saw the abuse he’d received,” a friend told the newspaper. “It stunned him. Some of it was pretty vile, with tweets saying, ‘You should kill yourself’ and ‘I want to kill you’.

“It went past banter and his advisers decided it was so serious they are looking to report it to police.”

The pal added: “They are also looking into getting him some protection until things calm down.”

Meanwhile Jasmine too has been the victim of online abuse after her phone number was leaked, leading to a string of nasty messages and calls.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper today: “She’s in a real state. The worst part is it must be someone who knows her that’s doing this.

“She has an idea who it might be. If they’ve gone this far, who knows what else they’re capable of?”

The Celebrity Big Brother 2014 final airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.

Not only have fans been raving about Celebrity Big Brother 2014, but it’s also been a hit with the press. Here bbspy rounds up what critics and writers have said about the series…

Cast your mind back four weeks, when the festive period had just ended and we all began gearing up for the return of Celebrity Big Brother.

With rumours circulating that the likes of Jasmine Waltz, Ollie Locke and, er, Liz Jones were set to enter the house, it’s fair to say that not many people had particularly great expectations for the show’s thirteenth series.

But boy, were we wrong. The latest line-up of famous housemates turned out to be an almost perfect mix of personalities – and after 27 days packed with arguments, drama, cheeky twists, clever tasks and *that* love triangle, Celebrity Big Brother 2014 has gone down in the history books as one of the best series ever.

Viewers haven’t been able to get enough of the action, with Channel 5 extending the run five days thanks to steadily increasing ratings – Lee Ryan’s eviction on Sunday was the first non-final or launch episode of Big Brother to hit the 3million mark since 2011.

But surprisingly, neither has the press. Since C5 acquired the rights to the show, media coverage has remained at a fairly flat level – but now literally everyone seems to be talking about it again.

The increased interest has even led to this CBB generating the main front page stories of at least two issues of The Sun this month, for the first time in ages – no mean feat given that one of its rivals, The Daily Star, is owned by C5 boss Richard Desmond.

So, as we prepare to bid farewell to a classic Celebrity Big Brother – the final airs tonight at 9.00pm – here we round up some of the compliments critics and writers have dished out.

Ian Hyland, The Mirror: “I think we are all agreed that the first Celebrity Big Brother of 2014 is now officially the best one of all time. I can give this series no higher praise than this: I watched it every single night during my week off, and I spent every single day of my week off looking forward to watching it.”

Stuart Heritage, The Guardian: “This is an incredibly difficult thing to admit. It defies all form of reason or logic. It’s genuinely making me question the sort of person I am. And yet, despite all this, I’m going to miss Celebrity Big Brother when it ends this week.

“By leagues and leagues and leagues, this has been the best series of Celebrity Big Brother in the show’s entire history. For a show this knackered to find a sense of purpose this strong is little short of a miracle.”

Rupert Hawksley, The Telegraph: “Where this reality show excels, and where others like I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fall down, is its ability to tease out the true characteristics of all the contestants. The monotony of living within the same four walls for weeks on end, never able to escape the camera’s glare, ensures that facades slip and reputations crumble.

“While what we see isn’t always pretty, it’s never less than captivating.”

Ally Ross, The Sun: “Celebrity Big Brother has been unmissable. The show I’m A Celeb should have been.”

Grace Dent, The Independent: “Better than all of this for the long, cold first weeks of January has been the new influx in Celebrity Big Brother, which is a show no one admits to watching until pressed – when they admit that they have it series-linked on their Sky+ box.”

Catriona Wightman, Digital Spy: “This series of Celebrity Big Brother has been – without a doubt, without any arguments – a classic. Already, we’re starting to wonder what we’re going to do when it comes to an end. What are we going to shout at on our television now?”

Tim Glanfield, Radio Times: “CBB has to work a little harder than it used to for its punters in a world where every other show sees celebrities doing something far more energetic and exciting than just sitting in a house. But CBB seems equal to the challenge.

“Just like many of the other regular reality shows we say “must” be ready to die, it will stay with us for many series to come. Remember, before you write it off… it’s not just Big Brother watching you – plenty of people are still watching him.”

Jim Davidson has backed Dappy to win in tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother 2014 results.

Speaking at a ‘last supper’ last night, Jim gushed about the N-Dubz star and tipped him to win the last public vote this evening.

During a toast, Jim said: ” I think Dappy should be the winner and I’ll tell you for why, Dappy comes from a very specialised type of music, he doesn’t sell out or alter his views.

“It’d be easy for him to say this is what I am, you don’t like me, up yours. But he’s not done that, he’s opened his heart to all of us and it’s a big enough heart for all of us to share and enjoy.”

Jim concluded: “So I think Dappy, coming from a selective group of music, style and whatever, is a winner for me because he shared his soul and his heart.”

Dappy repaid the favour backing “dad” Jim to win.

The rapper said: “I lost my dad in a very sudden way and to me he’s [Jim] honestly the closest thing that can match that.”

Who do you want to win the CBB final this evening? Vote for your favourite in our poll below…

27 pictures to prove why this CBB has been the best yet!

What a series that was, eh?! We had it all - a love triangle, a shock eviction through a grandfather clock and Lionel Blair in PVC. Seriously, what more could you ask for - apart from an extension of the series - but we've already done that!

Some would even say it's been the best series yet. And judging by these snaps, we'd have to agree........

We never thought we'd see Lionel in PVC but we're glad we did
