The housemates must ignore the obvious, but with a slight twist.

 

The seven remaining celebrity contestants must freeze whenever they hear the bell toll, no matter what is happening around them.

 

Big Brother is setting housemates a two day task on which amazing rewards and terrible punishments rest.

 

A giant grandfather clock has been in the living area which will sporadically ring. When the clock rings housemates must freeze completely and become human statues.

 

Big Brother will be sending a number of surprises into the house whilst the celebrities are frozen, which they must ignore in order to win the task.

 

Housemates are only allowed to move again when they hear the second clock toll.

 

The task (in various forms) has appeared on previous series as far back as those that aired on Channel 4, with Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley and even then-host Davina McCall entering the house.

 

With the task lasting until tomorrow we wonder if this is how Emma Willis will surprise the housemates with news of the secret eviction.

 

Celebrity Big Brother 2014 airs nightly on Channel 5.

Celebrity Big Brother 2014: Secret eviction planned for Sunday!

One of the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 finalists will be kicked out in a secret eviction on Sunday night.

 

This evening saw Linda Nolan voted out of Celebrity Big Brother 2014 leaving seven remaining celebrity contestants.

After chatting to Linda, Big Brother host Emma spoke to the house to announce that Jim Davidson, Lee Ryan, Luisa Zissman, Sam Faiers, Dappy, Ollie Locke and Casey Batchelor had all made the final.

 

However that the housemates don’t know is that one of them will get the boot in a special one-off live show on Sunday night.

 

Lines have now opened for us viewers to vote a winner and will freeze during Sunday night’s show and the one housemate with the fewest votes to that point will get the axe in a surprise eviction.

 

Going into the final few days, comic Jim is the odds-on favourite to win the show with the bookies.

 

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The support for Jim is unprecedented considering he started the show as a 50/1 outsider. He’s clearly won over the public and they’re putting their money where their mouth is.”

1.01pm: Lee's been in the Diary Room for ages now. We think he wants his buddies back

1:10pm Dappy has just made Lee an omelette but Lee didn't fancy it. Dappy looks a little offended

1.17pm: TASK UPDATE: The HMs are frozen and Sam has a visitor! And there's not a dry eye in the House. Wonderful scenes

1.19pm: The visitor was Sam's mum! She gave Sam a big hug and also told Ollie what a lovely young man he is. Awww!

1.21pm: Dappy: "Stop making me cry like this, Big Brother!" CBB has officially melted the Dapster.

1.35pm: The HMs are now trying to guess who the next visitor(s) will be and it's all getting a bit emotional in there

2:08pm Casey just told Lee that she feels like she's embarrassed herself by acting like she has around him

2:09pm Lee tells her not to worry and says all of the housemates have embarrassed themselves at some point

2:26pm Lee is making each of the housemates take a whiff of a foul smelling tea towel. Luisa retches as she drinks in the aroma

2:42pm Jim is taking on the role of quiz master and is putting all the housemates' general knowledge to the test

3.02pm: Casey's in the Diary Room, while Jim, Luisa and Lee prepare a snack for everyone.

3.33pm: Jim, Dappy and Lee have invented their own game. It's a bit like marbles, but without the marbles.

3.50pm: TASK UPDATE: Ollie has some guests and one of them is licking his face! And we've got a faceful of tears again. Bless.

3.56pm: It was Ollie's mum, sister and dog who came to visit. It was a HUGE struggle, but he passed the test and stayed frozen.

4.03pm: Ollie's mum couldn't resist the temptation to fix Dappy's hat for him while he was frozen. Fine work, Mrs Ollie.

4.17pm: Ollie's all smiles again, while Dappy's hat remains exactly how Ollie's mum left it.
