Day 21: The bed hair olympics

Morning campers, rise and shine. Big Brother is watching the housemates 24/7, and that means seeing them the moment they wake up.

Here we look at the housemates first thing in the morning. You may need a cup of coffee first...

Jim is always first to rise, and why not with hair like this

Dappy wears a lot of hats. Now you know why.

We think Ollie might sleep with a hair net, but we can't prove it.

Lee has said himself that he's not a morning person. This doesn't make us disagree with him.

Luisa says she always has interesting dreams. Her bed hair backs this up, if we're honest.

Maybe Sam and Linda ruffle each other's hair overnight.

We're not sure if Casey secretly brushes her hair under the duvet before emerging or if she's just a bit lucky. We'll give her the benefit of the doubt.

Day 21: Girls against boys, almost...

The morning after face-to-face nominations is always fun.

Last night, the housemates said goodbye to Liz and promptly set about deciding who would be next to leave. During her time in the House, Liz had been by far the most nominated housemate, but with her gone, the dynamic has changed and the first signs of the House breaking into two groups emerged. Those groups would be as follows:

Group 1: Luisa, Linda, Casey, Sam and Ollie

Group 2: Jim, Dappy and Lee

Last night, Luisa was banned from nominating, but Linda, Casey and Sam all put two of the boys forward for eviction. So did Ollie, preventing this from being a full-on school disco.

Similarly, Jim and Dappy both nominated two girls. Lee was the only one to mix and match, nominating Ollie and Sam.

Today, the pattern has continued, with Jim, Dappy and Lee spending the morning in the garden together, while Ollie joined the girls in the bedroom. It's fair to say the two groups spent most of this time talking about last night’s events.

Dappy had apologised to "Mama Lin" for nominating her, but she wasn't particularly impressed. "Why nominate me then?" she asked, just after he left the room. Furthermore, Luisa wanted to know why Dappy felt the need to apologise to Linda but not to her. Ollie had made his feelings on being nominated perfectly clear last night, and this morning he was clearly still hurt.

Predictably enough, Luisa and Linda felt that tactical voting was taking place, and knew exactly who to blame for that: Jim. Casey acted as peacemaker, although you could argue it's easy to play peacemaker when you're one of just three housemates not facing eviction. Sam, having survived last night's eviction and avoided nomination, was also full of confidence and advice, telling Luisa to ask Dappy why he'd nominated her. Luisa chose not to, preferring to talk about him rather than to him.

At the time of writing, the divide remains very much in place. How long will it last? We'll just have to wait and see.

2.13pm: Ollie says he has a new-found respect for pineapples. Well, CBB's all about developing as a human being, Ollie.

2.18pm: Dappy and Jim are having an in-depth conversation about asparagus. Now there's a sentence we never thought we'd type.

2.22pm: Dappy really is quite the asparagus connoisseur. Who knew?!

2.29pm: Lee seems to be harbouring dreams of becoming a manicurist. This really is an afternoon of revelations

Five Celebrity Big Brother 2014 housemate face eviction from the house in the latest public vote.

We now know who’s up for Celebrity Big Brother eviction this week, with an unlucky five housemates facing the chop.

The results followed the latest round of face to face nominations which took place late last night straight after Liz Jones’ eviction.

Jim Davidson received the most nominations with four (half his tally from last week) while Ollie Locke, Luisa Zissman, Linda Nolan and Lee Ryan each received two nominations each.

Now all five face the axe just days before the final next Wednesday.

Early odds suggest that Linda is the favourite to go out of the five nominated, although both Lee and Luisa could also be in danger too based on previous results.

Favourite to win Jim should be safe with Ollie also having proved popular with the public in the past.

And Channel 5 have yet to rule out a double eviction with eight housemates still remaining and less than seven days to go until the live final.

Another day in the Celebrity Big Brother 2014 house means another argument between Jim Davidson and Linda Nolan.

This latest row followed on from the results of Face to Face nominations, which saw Linda and Jim unsurprisingly nominating one another.

In total, Jim received the most nominations with four votes from his fellow housemates while Linda together with Ollie Locke, Luisa Zissman and Lee Ryan each received two nominations, meaning all five will face the axe this week.

It’s the first time that Linda is up for eviction and the pressure seemed to already be getting to her when she snapped at Jim over dinner after he offered her a knife.

“Will you stop being nice to me please?” she asked.

“Okay, shove the nice up your a**e, how’s that?” Jim retorted, turning to his fellow housemates to ask: “What the f**k? What have I done?”

“Just don’t be too faced,” Linda told him.

“Two faced? I offered you a knife!” a flabbergasted Jim replied.

“Stop being nice to me, I don’t want to be nice to you and I don’t want you being nice to me. Just stop being nice and pretending to like me when you don’t,” Linda explained.

Jim branded the Nolan singer “bitter” before she retreated to the bedroom for a bitch.

“Jim needs to be back off, I don’t want him cooking for me. He just need’s back off,” she warned.

Lucky Jim didn’t offer Linda a fork tooâ€Ķ

Endemol talent scouts are hitting the road again this year to search venues around the UK for potential Big Brother 2014 housemates, with the team in Scotland this weekend.

Producers will be visiting bars and nightclubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh looking for ‘vibrant and interesting’ characters to enter the show’s famous house this summer.

Their first stop will be the Polo Lounge gay bar on Glasgow’s Wilson Street tonight (Thursday 23rd January), followed by Jak’s Glasgow on Sauciehall Street this Friday (24th).

They will then visit the Cav Edinburgh club at West Tollcross on Saturday night (25th).

As always applicants must be 18 or over with Photo ID to prove their age. Dates and venues are subject to change, with further locations yet to be announced.

These visits are hopefuls’ only opportunites to audition in person for the show this year, as for the second year running there will be no major open audition tour.

Those who can’t make it are still able to submit applications online, either on the official website bigbrotherauditions.com or by emailing bigbrotherteam2014@endemoluk.com.

The team can also be reached by phone on 0333 5777769 (calls charged at local rates from landlines, mobiles may vary).

Big Brother 2014 – the fifteenth civilian series to air in the UK – is set to begin in June.

Luisa Zissman was banned from taking part in the latest Celebrity Big Brother 2014 face-to-face nominations for changing her votes – even though Lee Ryan was previously allowed to do so.

Tonight, Big Brother gathered the group at the sofas and gave them customised envelopes containing pictures of all the other celebrities.

Each housemate had to take out the cards of the two celebrities they intended to nominate and deposit the others in a box, before Big Brother instructed them to stand one-by-one and confirm their votes and reasons.

However, Luisa attracted the wrath of Big Brother during the reveal when she decided she wasn’t happy with her nominees – and tried to retrieve her envelope so she could change them.

“Luisa, you’re not permitted to change your nomination,” scoled the all-seeing eye.

“I need to change, I chose the wrong person,” she insisted.

“Luisa, you’re not permitted to change your nomination,” repeated Big Brother. “Put the envelope back. Housemates, do not touch the old envelopes.”

But Luisa proceeded to get her envelope anyway – and Dappy almost followed suit, proclaiming: “If she can change hers I can change mine.”

Big Brother then handed down the punishment, stating: “Luisa, your power to nominate has been rescinded due to your attempt to change your nomination. To clarify, you will not be allowed to nominate.”

However, the decision is certain to provoke accusations of double standards after Lee was permitted to change his votes in the last round of face-to-face nominations on Day 10.

After Lee failed to provide a satisfactory reason for Sam, Big Brother told him that he was “prepared to make an exception in your case so you give an honest reason” – and the Blue singer then decided to nominate Jim.

Jim, Lee, Linda, Luisa and Ollie are now facing the fifth eviction of the series, which airs this Friday at 9.00pm on Channel 5.

Was Big Brother right to force Luisa to state her nominations before changing them – or should it be one rule for all housemates? Share your thoughts belowâ€Ķ
